Dark Dune Somewhere in the world

A white wolf sat in the dark and unnatural environment that was a desert. It sat waiting, stood still as the night drew on.

Only growls and the flicking of it's tail showed it was annoyed.

Suddenly it pricked it's ears up and looked expectantly at a tall dune in front of it.

On the top of that dune was a saber-tooth tiger which after a pause, ran down towards the wolf.

The white wolf got up and sniffed the saber-tooth tiger and whined, as it moved the tiger noticed a small red tattoo of a flame behind it's ear.

The two animals turned to human forms.

"Brother." The saber-tooth tiger said, he was muscular and had two slightly bigger than average canines which was seen as he smiled.

"Diego, I was beginning to think you wasn't showing up." The wolf said. He had white shortish hair and was more of an Asian origin. He was also shorter than his brother.

"James, I never break a promise, you should know this by now." Diego chuckled at his brother's worry. "Tattoo of a fire, why?"

"It's actually my name." James showed him his tattoo which true enough, was his name. "But the fur doesn't show the intricate details."

"Fair enough." Diego commented.

"So why am I here? I was looking forward to assassinating someone that i'm on a contract for." James asked impatiently.

"Wait for our sister." Diego said.

"half sister." James corrected. James looked unhappy at the thought of his sister coming too.

"Fox isn't that bad, once you get to know her." Diego said.

"Damn true." A voice agreed from behind him.

James looked behind him and saw a fox turn into a women with bright red hair with black tips, James thought she looked very attractive, for a half sister but her name was Fox, and to him that meant trouble.

"Yeah well, my opinion. Now why am I here?" James whined.

"There's a mutant, this girl, apparently named Zeela. Magneto wants her, end of story for why, but you've got four years to get her to him, she's very powerful apparently." Fox said.

"Here's her last position, call us when you've got her." Diego said.

"Any other news for me?" James asked.

"Yeah, I'm under cover at Charles' Academy, don't worry, he can't read my mind even if he wanted to." Diego said.

James nodded and turned back into his wolf form, and ran, ran towards this mutant, unbeknownst to him, he felt he must protect this mutant from anyone, friend, family or foe.
