"Okay, got myself an apartment on Sixth Street. Got some basic necessities, a small TV... Still a surprise they use these old models... And a filled fridge without Dante raiding it... Nice." Nero thought to himself as he crossed out a checklist.

"Next is to get myself a new identification. Thank god for those dumbass raiders."  Nero chuckled to himself, patting my new credit card in my wallet.

Said raiders was his recent victims when he decided a late night scourge of the closest Hollow he could check out, and thanks to Cerberus. He didn't need a proxy or a guide to help him get in and out.

"This... Extra Large... Dog Bed is... Very comfortable in this... Form." Cerberus commented as they rolled on the extra large dog bed Nero bought for them. Sure, they can stay in Nero's storage dimension, but they decided to stay in their current form to enjoy.

"Glad you like it, bud. Just be careful not to ruin it. It's not element proof." Nero chuckled as he rubbed the middle head. Prompting the other two to press their own snouts on Nero's palm.

It's been three days since he arrived in this new world, and he could no longer keep on denying.

"Still though, I really couldn't believe we ended up in a different world altogether." Nero said, a brief pang of pain in his chest as his mind wandered back to Kyrie and the others.

"We will... Find a way... Or we could... Wait for your Father." Cerberus commented, making Nero frown but begrudgingly nodded.

"Yeah, guess that's a plan. Any news on getting a connection to the underworld?" At Nero's question, Cerberus shook their heads at him. Making the young man sigh in annoyance.

"If only I had the Yamato and my Devil Bringer still. Maybe I could've figured out something." Nero grumbled, but ultimately moved on to more important things.

Such as...

*Ding Dong*

Nero got up from petting Cerberus, and answered the door.

"Hi Nero! Nice place! Oooh! You even got those plastic plants on your window!" Belle excitedly said as she and Wise entered Nero's place after letting them in.

"Naw, that's a real Bonsai. Belle. Pretty expensive but worth it. Keeps the Feng Shui in balance." Nero chuckled and ruffled Belle's hair, much to her annoyance.

"Not my hair! I swear, you and Wise loves messing with my cute cut!" She yelled out annoyed, though the small smile on her face says otherwise.

Wise couldn't help but chuckle at their banter. If anything, he was slightly disappointed to learn that Nero isn't their half sibling or something.

If they would stay close and interact like this, they make a convincing sibling of three. Even with Belle's dyed hair.

With Nero as the eldest, outgoing sibling. Wise the middle, introverted sibling. And Belle being the youngest, full of energy sibling.

Plus, he could use some help in keeping Belle's energy.

"So! How's your new life in New Eridu? Any stories you want to share? Maybe even some gossip you overheard!" Belle asked as she happily plopped down on the simple sofa... And immediately called Cerberus to pat.

Said three headed dog slowly got up from their doggy bed and sat in front of Belle, who immediately started showering the demonic mutt affection.

Something Nero took notice but left them be.

"Well, the last three days were spent sight seeing and buying furniture. So there's really no good gossip to listen to when you're surrounded by salespeople." Nero replied as he went over to his fridge, grabbing two cans of soda for the siblings, and a can of beer for himself.

"Boo!" Belle commented as she accepted Nero's offered can of soda.

"Really? Then I guess New Eridu hasn't had any exciting news for now. But anyway, have you gotten yourself a new ID?" Wise asked, taking a sip from his soda.

"That... Will be happening later." Nero answered after briefly checking the wall clock.

"Gotta make sure things are done and settled, before heading to the Police Station for processing... Had the HIA send the form?" Nero said, before asking Wise. Who nodded and pulled out a neatly folded piece of paper from his jacket.

"Yes, and I already filled up the more... Annoying parts for you, like you said." Wise replied, a smile on his face at remembering how Nero specifically said that he could bullshit the more annoying parts to fill up.

"Uhuh, yep. All is good." Nero accepted the paper and inspected it. Even letting out a snort at reading some of the sentences written by Wise. Giving the older sibling a low five.

"It's funny, but professional. Thanks." Nero added, before taking out a pen to fill out the rest of the paper.

"By the way, how's proxy work?" Nero asked.

Both siblings had told him the day after they met that they're proxies. Helping Investigators in navigating the Hollows with their unique skills. A sentiment that Lucy at first warned them against, but after seeing how the twins are good at judging characters. Especially Belle. She let them be.

"Nothing too exciting happening. Had to help with an investigation about missing persons from a special military unit a week before you arrived, and just concluded it yesterday.." Belle replied, finishing her can and throwing it in the trash.

Nero looked at Wise, asking visually if he would like to continue the story, with how Belle's mood dropped.

"The conclusion was... Melancholic at best. It's rather private to our client." Wise finished, and Nero understood and left it at there.

"Alright, I won't pry... Though if you kids get in trouble that your current group can't handle. Just give me a call. I'll support you." Nero replied, a smile on his face as he stood up.

"Well, I just finished the paper. We can head on out to the station." Nero said, stretching and letting the twins out first before leaving with Cerberus. Who was asked to stay in the siblings' van.

One long trip in the station later, with Nero exhausted from the constant interviews. All three decided it was a good idea to go window shopping in the mall at Lumina Square.

"Other than extra clothes, what else are in your list, Nero?" Belled asked, carrying a small paper bag while Wise carried several on him after she found some interesting clothes.

Nero himself has four bags. Two in each hand while Cerberus is happily chewing on three new dog toys.

"A maintenance kit for my sword and arms, then some extra materials just for tinkering." Answered Nero, who eyed a store.

"You won't find any of those in the main district, and the Outskirts are a bit of a hassle to go for materials without a guide... I could ask Enzo if he knows other mechanics that are happy to sell you some materials... Or I could ask the Belobog Construction Company. Specifically Grace." At the mention of Grace, Belle and Wise shivered at the thought. Not really feeling disgusted, but uncomfortable with how the woman could get enthusiastic with machines.

Poor Billy and Eous...

"Great, maybe I could come with and-" Nero was stopped by both siblings with a yell.

Both shook their heads vigorously, when Nero gave them a look.

"Trust us... While the company isn't bad... One of their... Associates are rather enthusiastic when it comes to machines and stuff." Wise added, pointing at Nero's mechanical arm.

But to the surprise of the two, Nero shrugged them off and smirked.

"Oh please, if she could top Nico. Then I'll pay for the next meal when we go out again." Nero betted.

Both siblings worriedly looked at each other before sighing.

"We warned you." Belle replied, before spotting someone she wasn't expecting. Except it's not just someone.

"Oh hey! It's Miyabi and her team! Hey Chief Miyabi!!!" Belle enthusiastically yelled and waved at the group.

Miyabi didn't notice at first, looking a bit tired. But after a gently pat from Yanagi, she blinked and finally noticed the group.

"Hey! It's Belle and Wise! Can we go and greet them!?" Soukaku excitedly asked, and seeing that there's nothing to be worried about. Yanagi agreed and waved back.

As the two groups met at the Square. Miyabi suddenly felt a jolt that heightened her senses. Her eyes scanned the area, and found nothing except for an odd feeling coming from the tallest of the group.

Nero however, felt something familiar from Miyabi after just a glance.

"Good afternoon Wise, Belle. It's nice to run into you after a while." Yanagi greeted politely, before noticing the siblings' new friend.

"And Nice to meet you, Mr?"

"Nero, Nero Angelo. Pleasure." Nero greeted back, reaching for a handshake that Yanagi returned.

But before anyone could get into a proper conversation. Miyabi suddenly stepped forward to Nero, who curiously raised a brow at her.

"You... You feel strong." She commented, making Yanagi apologize for her bluntness. But Nero didn't mind. In fact, he oddly felt comforted and competitive.

"Yeah, I get that a lot." Nero answered, but before he could say any more. Miyabi cuts him off.

"Spar with me." Everyone froze, especially the siblings. Who knew how both combatants performs.

"Woah, easy there young lady. I just look strong not-"

"Feel... I can feel your strength... I would like to test myself with your skills." Miyabi answered bluntly. Making Yanagi massage her temple and both Soukaku and Harumasa start a betting ring with candies.

"I apologize for Chief Miyabi's behavior, if anything we cou-" Yanagi tried to explain and ease the growing tension down, but Nero smirked and locked in.

"It's fine, I don't personally mind this small bout. If anything, It'll be good experience for the both of us. A professional versus a newbie." Nero answered, making Miyabi nod simply.

"Then allow me to introduce myself once more. My name is Hoshimi, Miyabi. Chief of Hollow Special Operations Section Six. It is a pleasure to have this bout with you, Mr Nero Angelo." Miyabi reintroduced herself, and Nero did the same.

"Nero Angelo, newbie Hollow Investigator. The pleasure is all mine." Both shook hands, and a date of their bout was soon set in stone.
