Dangerous Guys

"I guess I really am fitted here." I say with a smirk, as I put my bag beside the seat that I missed.

"What are you doing here, you troublesome brat?" The guy beside me scoffed.

"Oh, don't worry, I missed your smart-ass remarks too." I dryly lied.

"Save me the sarcasm." He turns away with his signature pose. His left palm supporting his head as his eyes are glued to the window.

Using this to my advantage, I walk over to him and rest my elbows on top of his head, slowly bringing his face down on his desk. "What's so interesting in this big window anyway?" I teased.

He struggles below me, almost like he's getting suffocated. Without paying any attention to him, I look through the window and there, I instantly spotted some strange, suspicious-looking delinquents that are lurking within the darkness, humiliating a plain-looking nerd kid with a bowl cut and round glasses.

I was staring at them, watching their every move. When suddenly, the one sitting in the middle, the one with the biggest body among them all, glanced at me straight in the eye. His eyes pierced me like a needle, and it scared me.

I instantly took a step backwards, silently walking to my seat.

"What's wrong with you?! Seriously..." Simon clicked his tongue and turned away. When he looked at the window, his pupils shrunk for a moment, and he raised his hoodie, trying to completely cover his face, turning away from the window with great fear hidden deep within his mask.

His enemy, maybe?

The door opened. For some reason, I instantly turned to the direction. There stands the class president that her friends are so worried about. She presented herself so proper and formal that you wouldn't imagine her having a cold a few days ago.

"Good morning, Jane!!!" I greeted with an exaggerated wave. What can I do, I got overjoyed.

Jane simply smiled weakly, looking at me with hidden relief and compassion.

"You made us worry, Jane! I thought Simon already told you to stop doing that!" Bill scolds as he walks towards her with a wide smile that he shows to everyone. As he reaches her, he playfully pats her back.

"I'm sorry. It's my habit." She lightly laughs. Her actions are weak, but there's no doubt that she, too, is feeling as overjoyed as I am.

"Hey President, come sit on your throne already! How long are you going to stay there, hanging out with that goof?" I whole-heartedly laughed. The atmosphere is very light and everyone is carefree. This kind of lifestyle... I might get used to it...

"So, why are you here?" Me, Jane, and Simon all looked at Bill, who's sitting on my right side, with dull and tired eyes like we're tired of Bill's antics.

"I want to be together with everyone. Is it not good?" Bill cocks his head sideways, with his obvious excuses. Our looks didn't even change a bit. "Well, if you don't want me here, then you can all go change seats!"

An idea popped into our heads, and, as we were looking for confirmation that everyone was thinking the same thing, we all looked at one another. As if on cue, the three of us simultaneously stood up from our seats.

"Hey, I was just kidding! Don't leave me here! I can be useful, okay? I can give you information regarding the other students, just come back!!!" He cries.

"No matter how much you desperately cry there, no one's going to listen, you know." Simon says with his usual condescending voice.

But somehow, I feel like Bill's connections can actually be useful.

"Any student?" I asked.

Bill repetitively nods as a reply. Or maybe I should say replies.

"Then, can I ask you something?"
