Chapter 25
Chapter 25- Dragoon Ally

"(Y/N), this is the Hidden World," You hid behind your Da, looking out at your giant home.
"It's our home. It was the home of yer Ma's grandparents, and grandparents before them," Your Da explained.
You and him stood at the top of the Crystal throne, watching dragons fly by, but at that very young age, you were scared of heights, so you stayed near your Da for comfort as your Ma was out to catch dinner.
"It's my job as Alpha to protect us, (Y/N). And one day, when you're all grown up, that job will be passed on to you," He smiled softly at you.
"Okay," You whispered, feeing nervous about the height.
"It's very important. Because out there, beyond the borders, lies the home of the more creatures out there," He said, licking your head gently.
"Wow," You gasped, looking up at the giant sinkhole.
"Aye, Legends tell of dragons flying out of borders, never to be seen again," That made you scared and hid behind him, making him chuckle a little.
"But those who make it, told tells of great mountains and forests, and animals guarding the shores to their world," He waved his tail around, wrapping it around your body.
"Not just one island, (Y/N), but a line where all creatures come," He closed his eyes and felt the wind around you both.
"Even humans?" You shyly asked him. That made him pause, and looked down at you.
"Now where do you get that name from?" He asked with a soft laugh.
"Uncle Barf and Bletch, they were talking about them," You told him.
"Ah, those two are something," You whispered, and nodded anyways.
"Yes, including humans," He agreed.
"They sound scary," You rubbed your head against your Da's torso.
"Don't ye worry about them. One day, I'll find a way to show you that we don't fight them no more," He promised, making you smile and look down at your home.
"I'm going to grow up, and be as strong as ye, Da. Be the Alpha, and protect our home!" You stood on you this legs and roared the beat you can, making your Da laugh.
"Oh great and powerful Alpha, spare me, let me serve ye!" He dramatically cried, bowing, and that made you pounce on his head.
"Nooooooo!!" He stuck his tongue out and made you giggle.
"Yer not dead, Da!" You said, and you grabbed your and hugged you tightly.
"I'll never die while yer young, (Y/N), I promise ye, I'm not going anywhere," He said as you ladies against his side, and closed your eyes.
"Me neither Da, me neither,"

"Remember to behave and don't cause any trouble for the Pro's" Aizawa instructed to the class, but to you than anyone else.
"Are you going to be fine by yourself? You have my number, right?" Izuku nervously said to you, making you nod.
"You must be (Y/N) Fury right?" You jumped and turn to see a woman, wearing a maroon colored dress, a grey fringe over the right side of her face, covering her eye, and black dragon wings on the sides of her head.
"Yes, an honor to meet another dragon," You bowed, making her laugh and placed a hand on your head.
"I'm not really a dragon, but thank you," She said, as you stood up.
"You don't know Hosu city at all, so I thought it'll help you if I come here instead," She said and you nodded.
"Well then, my name Ryuko Tatsuma, but you can call me Ryuko," She introduced herself.
"Ye already know about me, based on what the Principal Nezu said," You guessed, making her smile.
"Most definitely," She said, grabbing your bag and swung it over her shoulder.
"Now, let's go back to my agency and have some tea," She suggested, making you smile and walk next to her.
"Yes ma'am,"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"So, yer a human with a dragon quirk." You sighed disappointingly, making her smile with sympathy. You both sat in her agency building, drinking teas and sitting in front of a table.
"Sorry, but hey! Maybe something dragon-like will make you a little happy?" She reassured you.
"Yeah, I guess it does," You shrugged, setting your cup down as Ryukyu stood up.
"Now then, let's start with training shall we?" She smirked, making you a little exited on what's gonna go down.
"First, how about your first flight?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Turns out training with a hero wasn't so bad. Ryukyu allowed you to fly over the city, at any speed you wished. It felt like you were near home, just for a moment, you cherished it.
She showed you her quirk, and Odin's beard, how you fell in love with her form.
"Remember, don't always concentrate on planning your next move. Sometimes, you won't be able to have a moment to think, and be on instinct," She said, dodging another attack.
You hummed and let out another plasma blast, trying to get an aim on any weak points. Her dragon form may be larger in size, but you had the agility to strike her at any place.
She suddenly threw her tail towards you, trying to crush you, but you quickly maneuvered to the side and went invisible, attack at the head. She fell down at the plasma blast, and you landed in front of her.
"How's that for instinct?" You grinned with mischief, making Ryukyu laugh and turn into her actual form.
"Let's take a break for today, and tomorrow we'll try on working with the dragon form," Ryukyu said, making you nod and stretched your limbs.
"Come on, let's go on the roof for snack break,"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You kicked your legs at the edge of the building, munching away on the fish Ryukyu gave you, while she ate a mochi.
"Question, if I were to ever meet your parents, do you think they'll accept me as one of your own?" She asked while munching on the mochi.
"Well, yer don't have any dragon pheromones on ye, so I doubt they'll recognize ye as our own. Although, you have the spark of one, so I think they'll make an exception," You explained nonchalantly.
"Damn," She mumbled, making you laugh and flap your wings. There was a peaceful silence between the two of you, until the hero spoke up.
"If you don't mind me asking, why did you leave your home?" She asked you, a little slow to make sure it's not a sensitive topic for you. You stopped mid munch on your fish, before looking at the night sky.
"In honesty, I don't really know. My Da and I, we had a fight that night, he said I'll never be strong enough to survive in the human world," You mumbled, shrugging and ears twitched.
"I guess I wanted to prove him wrong, or maybe I wanted to experience the same challenges as him, so I could be a great Alpha like him... or find my uncle," You quietly said the last part, but Ryukyu heard it.
"Your uncle?" She wondered, and you sighed.
"My uncle Cloudjumper, I only knew him right before my siblings hatched, and I never saw him again," You told him, finishing the fish.
"Did he said anything about where he was going to go?" She asked suddenly, and you shook your head.
"I don't know, Da doesn't like talking about it, but when I learned more about humans, I believed that's where he was," You has deep disappointment that you still couldn't find Cloudjumper.
"That's why you left," Ryukyu guessed, and you gave a slight laugh.
"More or less," She patted your head and gave you a reassuring smile.
"Hey, if I was your 'Da', I would be so proud on what you're doing now. You're one of the strings creatures I know," She said, wrapping an arm around you.
That made you laugh and gave a bright smile.
"That's barely as powerful as the rest of my family, ye should see my Ma!" You said, feeling a little better.
You both eventually finished your food and Ryukyu stood up.
"It's getting late now, you should get some sleep," You wanted to protest, but the yawn betrayed you, so you nodded and smiled.
"Okay,"
