They all sit waiting to hear any news about Taylor, but they get nothing. For two hours no one comes in or out to talk to them. Then a doctor comes out, they all stand up looking at him. "She's going to be fine, " He starts off and they all feel a little relief. "But I did have to do surgery on her. From what you told me" He looks at Layla, "I was able to quickly stop the bleeding and I didn't have to make a huge scar. What happened is her right side was very weak from blunt force trauma and she shouldn't have been doing anything, but from all the work she was doing it was causing her organs to also weaken. So when she had fallen from the couch and landed, something must have hit her liver and causes it to cut open." He says and Layla nods.

"She didn't fall on solid ground." Austin says and the doctor looks over at him.

"If she'd fall on the ground she most likely would have cut open another organ." He says and Austin looks up at the doctor confused.

"Austin, you didn't cause it. You helped her, not hurt her." Layla says knowing what he was thinking.

"She's still not off of the anesthesia completely or some of the pain medication, but you are welcome to go in and see her." The doctor says. Leland nods his head and they begin to follow the doctor. He lets them in and then leaves them alone.

Leland walks up to the bed. "Who are youuuuu?" She asks tilting her head to the side.

"I'm your brother." He smiles as she slurred her words.

"My brother. I...I have a brother?" She asks with wide eyes. Leland looks at the nurse and she smiles.

"She's fine, just going to take her a little to get off the anesthesia and meds. If you need me just call." She says and then leaves the room.

"She was mean," Taylor grumbles and sticks her tongue out towards the door.

"Why was she mean?" Layla asks taking a seat next to her.

"She...she stuck dis dis thing in my arm." She says and points to the iv.

"That's helping you," Layla says and she shakes her head.

"No it's not. It's putting bad stuff in me." She says and they laugh. "Are you my sister?" She asks and Layla shakes her head. "Why not?" She says and Layla laughs.

"Because we don't have the same mom and dad."

"So what. You're my sister because I said so." She claims, Layla just nods her head. She looks at Austin and smiles. "Who is he? I think I know him." She says and Layla looks at him.

"He's a friend of ours. His name is Austin." She says and Taylor's eyes widen.

"I think...I think I fell on him." She says and looks at Layla worried. "I sorry bout that." She says loudly to him as if he's a mile away. Austin just nods.

"It's ok. Didn't hurt me." He says and walks closer to the bed.

"Are you sure? I weigh a lot." She says and they laugh.

"I'm fine." He says and she nods her head.

"There's something under my boob." She says and begins to feel the gauze.

"It's a bandage," Layla says and moves her hand to stop her from playing with it.

"Why do I have a bandage by my boob?" She asks furring her eyebrows.

"They had to fix you," Layla says and she shakes her head.

"I not need fixing. I'm prefect." She says causing them to laugh again.

"You are perfect." Leland says and she looks back over at him.

"Why are you crying?" She asks and he wipes his eyes.

"Because I love you." He says.

"Awwe, you love me." She says and then begins to cry.

"Why are you crying?" Layla asks.

"My brother loves me." She says between cries. Layla laughs and wipes her eyes. "You have a tattoo." She says looking at her wrist.

"Yes, it's a little bird. You have one too." She says and turns Taylor's wrist over.

"We're matching. See we are sisters." She says back to smiling. "Can we go swimming with the turtles? I like the turtles." She says and makes swishing noises. She moves her hand around and Leland smiles at her.

"You wanna go swimming again?" He asks and she nods.

"Right now." She says and tries to sit up, but Layla pushes her back down.

"No, you have to stay in bed," Layla says and Taylor glares at her.

"Why?" She questions like a child.

"Because you're hurt and to get better you have to rest." She states and Taylor mimics her.

"Blah, blah, blah. Why is she here?" Taylor asks Leland.

"She's my girlfriend and you're best friend." He says and Taylor shakes her head.

"Why are you dating my sistor?" She asks confused.

"She's not your sister, she's your best friend." He says and she shakes her head.

"She's my sistor, that's why she's annoying me and not letting me get upppppp." She says and turns her head to Layla. "We have matching tattoos that's why." She states as if it clears everything up and looks down at her wrist.

"Taylor, mom and dad are going to be here in about an hour," Leland says and Taylor's eyes go wide.

"What I do?" She asks and Leland laughs.

"They want to make sure you're fine." He says and she groans.

"But they're so embarrassing." She wines. Leland laughs and nods his head.

"How are they going to embarrass you?" He asks and she gives him a look.

"There's a cute guy that's apparently my friend, they're going to tell bad stories or somethin." She says and Layla laughs.

"Who's the cute guy?" Layla asks and Taylor smiles.

"He's by the door, but don't talk too loud or he'll hear you." She says and Austin starts laughing. She waves at him and he waves back with a smile. "He waved at me." She all but squeals looking back at Layla.

"Really?" She asks and Taylor nods her head vigorously. She looks back at Austin and smiles.

"If you like him, you can have him though. I'll be a nice sister." She says and Layla starts laughing.

"You think I like him?" She asks and Taylor nods. "Why would you let me go out with him?" She asks and Taylor shrugs.

"Because you're my sister and I love you. And you shouldn't be dating my brother. That's just gross." She says and Leland laughs.

"I think you should ask him out," Layla says and Taylor shakes her head.

"You crazy. I don't think I can even say a word if I was around him." She says and Austin has to sit down because he's laughing so hard.

"But you talk to him all the time," Layla says and Taylor smiles.

"That's cause I'm smooooothhh." She says and Layla wipes the tears that fall from her eyes. "We should watch Despicable Me." She says and Layla asks why. "Because he has a big nose." She says and laughs. "Don't tell him I say that." She says and Layla nods.

"Should we see if we can get that?" She asks and Taylor nods her head. Leland finds the remote and turns the tv on.

"Look, they're moving pictures. They...they move." She says as a show pops up.

"That's a tv," Layla says and Taylor bounces her head to the theme song.

"What bout Despicable Me 2?" Leland asks seeing that it's on.

"There's a second one?" She asks her eyes wide again. Leland nods and she nods her head.

"Yeah, let's watch." She says looking up at the tv. Leland clicks it and Taylor starts laughing. "His nose is so long." She says watching attentively. "That guy is really fat." She says and Layla laughs. "What is he doing?" She asks as the character dances across the floor.

She watches as Gru walks into the room and then starts laughing when the sauce lands on the wrong tile. "Here we go." Leland mumbles with a small shake of his head. "When we first saw this she laughed for about ten minutes after the scene was done."

Taylor laughs at Gru continues to fail at getting the password right. She's still laughing when the commercial comes on. "Taylor, what's so funny?" Layla asks and Taylor tries to stop laughing.

"His..his hand....how.." She can't stop laughing and she keeps wiping her eyes. "He..he." She shakes her head and beings laughing harder. She ends up snorting which causes her to continue laughing.

"What's going on in here?" A woman questions as she walks into the room.

"She saw the clip of Despicable Me 2." Leland says.

"Oh boy." Amanda says and walks up to the bed. "How's my baby girl doing?" She asks and Taylor looks at her confused.

"I'm a baby girl?" She asks not laughing anymore.

"You're my baby girl. I'm your mom sweetheart." She says and Taylor shakes her head.

"My mom's not here. My brother and sister and a cute friend of mine are here." She says and Amanda looks over at Layla confused.

"She thinks that we're sisters and that Austin is a cute guy that can't hear what she's saying," Layla says and Amanda nods. Jerry then comes into the room looking paranoid. He goes up to Taylor and she smiles at him.

"Hi, Daddy." She says and he smiles.

"Hey, you." He says.

"That woman says she's my mom, but my mom can't be here." She says and he raises his eyebrows at her.

"How am I here?" He asks and she opens her eyes wide.

"You teleported." She says and he busts out laughing.

"Yes, and I brought your mom with." He says and Taylor looks back over at Amanda. She squints at her before nodding.

"I guess you're right. She's my mom." Taylor says and Amanda laughs.

"Damn right I'm your mom." She states and Taylor nods.

"Definitely my mom." She says trying to whisper, but failing.

"Well, this is going to be fun," Jerry says and everyone else nods.
