Berrypaw slides under Fishpaw's belly and rakes it with her paws. Fishpaw jumps in surprise and topples over.

"Berrypaw! Behind you!" Cherrycloud warns her apprentice. Berrypaw snaps her head behind her, only to be bowled over by Maplepaw.

"Hah! Gotcha!" He purrs. Berrypaw growls playfully and kicks Maplepaw off of her with her hind legs. Maplepaw flys backwards off of her and lands roughly onto the ground.

"You all did an excellent job." Fernstar praises the apprentices. Every one of their eyes start shining. "I think it's time for some of you to earn your Warrior names."

*Time Skip*

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath Highrock for a Clan meeting!" Fernstar yowls. Maplepaw, Fluffypaw, Fishpaw, Magicpaw, Butterpaw, and Foxpaw all sit beneath the Highrock with proudness shining in their eyes.

"Butterpaw, Fluffypaw, Maplepaw, Magicpaw, Fishpaw, and Foxpaw. You have all completed your training and all of your mentors have said that you are all ready to be warriors." Fernstar announces. "I, Fernstar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them as warriors in their turn," Fernstar glances down on the 6 apprentices. "Toms and She cat, do you promise to uphold the Warrior Code and to protect and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life?" She asks them.

"I do." They all day in unison.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior names:

Maplepaw, from this moment on, you will be known as Mapleleaf. StarClan honors your Spirit and Strength,

Fluffypaw, from this moment on, you will be known as Fluffyfang. StarClan honors your Enthusiasm and Faith,

Butterpaw, from this moment on, you will be known as Butterclaw. StarClan honors your Honesty and Independence,

Foxpaw, from this  moment on, you will be known as Foxwhisker. StarClan honors your Spirit and Loyalty,

Fishpaw, from this moment on, you will be known as Fishfur. StarClan honors your Faith and Independence,

and Magicpaw, from this moment on, you will be known as Magiccloud. StarClan honors your Determination and Patience. We welcome all of you as full warriors of ThunderClan." Fernstar announces. The Clan then starts chanting the newly named warriors names. "And by tradition, all six of these warriors will sit vigil tonight." Fernstar adds. "I also want to appoint one new apprentice." She yowls. "Lavakit. You have reached the age of six moons and is time for you to be apprenticed. Lavakit, from this day forward, until you have earned your Warrior name, you will be known as Lavapaw. Sweetglow, you will be her mentor. I wish you the best in your training." Fernstar announces as the Clan chants the new apprentice's name, then she jumps down from Highrock. Berrypaw pads up to her old denmate.

"I'm going to miss you in the den." She mews.

"Don't worry. You'll be in the Warrior's den in a couple of moons." Foxwhisker purrs. Berrypaw notices in the corner of her eye that Mapleleaf is staring at her. She looks over at him and he looks away. "I told you he has a crush on you." Foxwhisker whispers in Berrypaw's ear.

"I know." She replies.

"Berrypaw! Border patrol!" Cherrycloud yowls to her apprentice.

"Coming! See you when I get back Foxwhisker!" Berrypaw mews to her friend as she runs up to joint her mentor.
