As I entered, I saw Cherry behind the desk, looking up as I entered. "Can we talk?" I carefully asked. Cherry slightly threw her hair back, crossing her arms in front of her chest. "I'm sorry for yesterday." I quickly said before she was able to speak. "I was just frustrated with the situation," I said when Cherry quickly walked around the desk, taking my hands. "It's okay, hey, I understand this was a lot yesterday," she quickly said, squeezing my hands. Just as she was about to say something, footsteps came closer, and when I turned around, I saw Clay walking in with Chibs, and Jax following him and Keith at the very end. Clay and Jax looked serious; I immediately turned without releasing Cherry's hands I was holding, but when I saw the look on Chibs's face, I knew this had something to do with Cherry, and I quickly released her hands, reaching for Chibs, who took my hand, pulling me to his side. "What's wrong?" Cherry asked, feeling the shift in the atmosphere. Clay looked at Cherry, feeling I was on their side. "We need to talk," he grumbled. I reached my hand around Chibs's arm, holding on tight to him. Cherry frowned. "About what?" she asked, worried she did something wrong when Jax stepped forward. "Liam," he said softly. I turned my head to where Jax was standing, and when I looked over at Chibs, he wasn't looking at me but just stared at Cherry. "Do ye know where he is?" he finally asked after a long pause, as he wouldn't stop looking at Cherry. I looked back over to where she was still standing frozen, slightly blinking. "Liam?" she asked, confused. "Aye," Chibs replied with a light nod of his head. "I thought he was with Keith," she said. From where I was standing, I could see Jax slightly shaking his head. "He wasn't," Clay spoke up from next to Chibs. "He wasn't?" I asked, and Clay shook his head. "Didn't show up this morning." Clay said, and I let out a light "huh". Cherry leaned against the desk, realizing something, and walked to the door, locking it before heading into the back room. I followed her in with Chibs, with Jax and Clay behind us. "Liam has been acting weird," Cherry said. I stopped at the desk, leaning against the wall close to it while Cherry sat on the chair. "What do ye mean?" Chibs asked. "Weird Phone calls and money that showed up, he would tell me about," Cherry told us. "What?" I asked, slightly tilting my head. "Yeah, I did some digging and found a key and papers for an apartment at the docks I had no Idea about," Cherry told us. "Can you give us the address? He might be there," Jax asked, and Cherry nodded, scribbling something on a piece of paper. Jax nodded at Cherry, who passed him the note. "Thank you, Cherry. You made the right choice to tell us," Jax softly told her, and Cherry gave him a small smile. "I know what happened to Sack. Riley told me everything. I still loved him," Cherry said, her voice slightly breaking. Jax nodded. "You and Riley being besties or what?" Jax asked, and I leaned over slightly, smacking Jax on the shoulder. I turned to Chibs. "I'm coming," I said quickly, but Chibs immediately shook his head. "No," he said immediately, and I stared at him. "Excuse me?" I asked. "Yer not coming," he told me, looking into my eyes. "I can help," I tried to say, but when I saw Jax's face. "Riley," I softly said, stopping next to Chibs. "I want to—" I tried to say, but Chibs interrupted me. "Yer pregnant," he said, lowering his voice. "She knows you don't have to whisper," I grumbled with a slight nod to Cherry. "And I know I'm pregnant," I grumbled. "And if Liam really has something to do with this, I don't want ye anywhere near him," Chibs told me. I felt my mouth open, but nothing came out. Then stopped. Because she knew he wasn't trying to control her. He was scared. Before she could answer, another voice came from behind her. "Riley?" I knew that voice. When I looked, I saw Fiona just outside the door with a younger girl next to Fiona who had an arm around her. "We need to go," she told me, and I turned to Chibs. "Go where?" I asked. "Somewhere safer," Fiona replied before Chibs could answer. "She's right," Chibs finally said, turning and looking me deep into my eyes. "You're agreeing with her?" I asked, and Chibs nodded. And I looked slightly surprised, looking from Chibs to Fiona and the girl I knew was Kerrianne Chibs's daughter. Fiona stepped closer. "We've got somewhere arranged," she told me. I turned to Cherry, who was still sitting on the chair. Then toward Clay, Jax, and Chibs. "You three are going after Liam," I said, and Clay nodded. "We need answers," he said. I understood. "So you're sending me away 'somewhere safer' while you go hunt him?" I asked, and Jax nodded. "You're being kept safe," Jax said when I felt a squeeze on my hand. "Well, come find ye," Chibs said, his voice turning into a softer tone. I looked at Chibs, and my hand joined his before I looked up at him. "Promise?" I asked, slightly whispering, and Chibs gave me a short nod. His expression softened. "Aye," he replied in the same soft tone. I gave him a light squeeze on his hand. "Please be careful," I told him, stepping up and leaning my forehead on his. "So will ye," he replied. I felt the gruffness in his voice. I leaned my head back before turning to Fiona. "Do I need stuff?" I asked, and she nodded. "Aye, we're staying a few nights," she replied, and I nodded, releasing Chibs's hand and walking towards where she was standing. "Let's go then," I said with a light sigh.
