Chapter Twenty-Eight
THIRD POV
Harry groaned to himself as he woke up, hearing voices immediately quiet, which he appreciated. Harry's skull was pounding from the addition of Starheart into his mind. He didn't normally want any more bodiless voices in his head, thank you very much. "Harry? Are you okay, precious?" Harry hummed, opening his eyes and tried to sit up, but his abdominal muscles screamed at him to stop. "R-really s-sore." Harry grimaced as his hoard voice cracked, and watched as Severus quickly transfigured a random coin into a cup and conjured some water into it. Severus silently held it out, and Harry smiled. Taking a large gulp, Harry nearly cried in relief as the sandy feeling in his throat gave way to the water. Harry gratefully gave over the cup once it was empty and watched as Severus changed it back into its coin form and threw it away randomly, before turning back to him with that same empty mask, though concern could be easily seen in his aura. It suddenly clicked in his mind and Harry giggled. "Zorro. That's what I'll call you, Sevvy." A tiny upturn of his lip cracked Severus' cold mask and Harry giggled again, snuggling deeper into Tom's arms. Draco crossed his arms and muttered to himself, inconsequently calling the attention to him as well. "He gets a cool hero nickname and what do I get? Bloody Gryffindor, that's what! It's not fair..." Tomorrow chuckled and bumped Draco's shoulder, giving him a blinding smile once he looked up. "It doesn't matter darling, you'll always be a snake to me." A small blush appeared on Draco's cheeks, but he didn't say anything, just looked back down at the coins under his feet. Severus chuckled, but his face hardened when he saw a certain offending piece of jewelry on Harry's middle finger. "Harry, do you know what happened before you blacked out?" Harry hummed, curling closer into Tom's chest for warmth. "Starheart chose to help me." Harry relaxed, forgetting that his mates didn't know who Starheart was. All three tensed before Tom lightly brushed away Harry's bangs, trying to get him to open his eyes. "Harry... precious, who is Starheart?" Harry obliviously lifted up his hand as the ring sparked. "She's the being in this ring. Her magic is different than ours, apparently forgotten too. She didn't tell me exactly what it was." Draco looked panic stricken, clutching onto one of Severus' arms tightly. "She didn't... force you into anything, did she?" Harry opened his eyes in confusion, until he finally registered the panic in his top dominant's voice. "Oh. Oh, no! I'm sorry for worrying you, my king, I forgot that you weren't with me. When I was unconscious I had a talk with a lady, and she offered me power to protect all of you. I was hesitant, but then she told me of how she has been an entity of magic centuries ago, until the power she gave was corrupted and then forgotten. She had been confined to her ring until I came near. Starheart had sensed our plans and aligned herself to me for as long as I don't abuse the power." Draco's hold on Severus' arm losened slightly, still weary of what happened. "And there's no catch?" Harry shook his head, feeling a warmth emanate from his ring. His smile brightened and he hugged Tom the best he could, being held bridal style in his King's arms. Draco fully relaxed and slumped down on a nearby chest, drawing Harry's attention to the wings still present on his back. Confusion taking over once again, Harry felt his face twist into one of worry. "Did something happen while I was unconscious? Why does Draco have his wings out?" All three dominants seemed to grow slightly haunted, rewatching the events of half an hour ago. To know that the being that had been in their submissive's body was not his, frankly, terrified them. Severus made a silent vow to correctly teach Harry the ways of Occlumens while Tom decided on one of his gifts for his precious submissive. Draco stood up and cleared his throat, gently playing with Harry's hair to calm his nerves. "Well... y-you started to glow green and you were encased in that green bubble. I flew up to try to get you, but the energy burned my hand before I could even breach it. The bubble then started to descend and you began chanting. The sphere disappeared and your clothes changed to a sort of weird costume. You called yourself-" Harry's eyes widened as Starheart used her ring connection to input the information into his memory. "Green Lightning." A small smile came to Harry's lips as he watched the memory, seeing how worried his mates were for him made Harry feel all warm and fuzzy. He gently grabbed Draco's burnt hand and kissed it, holding it in both of his small ones. "Thank you, I don't know what I'd do without you all." Harry looked at his dominant with a bright smile on his face and easily identifiable love in his eyes. Severus kissed Harry's forehead in thanks as Tom tightened his grip on his precious. Draco just smiled, but gasped when he felt an odd tickling in his hand. Looking down, Draco was shocked by the floating blue energy surrounding his burn. Severus and Tom's attention was drawn to Harry's magic, and they both smiled. Harry looked at his mates nervously, withdrawing his hand slowly. "Oh, petit, don't worry, this is normal, and your magic is beautiful." Severus lovingly caressed Harry's doe ears, causing them to twitch. "It is part of your submissive magic, Karus. It is much like the magical boost normal wizards get on their eighteenth birthday." Harry nodded, but was still slightly confused. "But why is it floating around? I've never seen magic do that." Tom gently kissed Harry's head as Draco gently prodded at his hand, to see if it had worked fully. "That is because it is protective magic without much of a purpose. You didn't cast it in a spell, so the magic was fueled by what you innately wanted it to do, but it couldn't work completely for that one purpose since you weren't focusing on healing Draco." Harry gave a soft sound in acknowledgment while Griphook finally decided it was time to leave. Standing at the edge of the vault enterance, he loudly cleared his throat, calling out to the mates group. "I understand you are taking care of your submissive, but it would be better if you did it on your own time, as I do have other things to do." Severus cast a quick tempus spell and thanked Merlin that their goblin was Griphook. They had been down in Gringotts for a little more than two and a half hours. "Of course, Master Griphook. We shall be out in a moment." Severus quickly counted the items in his bottomless bag while Tom gently set Harry on his feet. Griphook huffed at the males exiting the vault and reluctantly followed as they quickly got into the cart. Standing at the prow of the cart, Griphook made sure that the party of four made it back to surface safely. Harry smiled at the grumbling goblin and gave him a hug in thanks. "See you later, Griphook! Thanks for taking us to get our stuff." Griphook nodded, but did not reply. Tom gently prodded his submissive's shoulder. "Harry, you need to put your glamour back on." Harry gasped and quickly became 'Leo'. "Thanks Tom." 'Leo' flashed a sheepish smile before they exited the corridor and walked into the main hall, waving farewell to an embarrassed Griphook. The dominants chuckled to themselves as they surrounded 'Leo', making sure he was once again protected. A bubbly little one once again filled with warmth. "Where are we going first?" Severus and Tom exchanged a quick look before Severus remembered to keep his exterior cold. "You and I will be going to Madam Malkins for your robes, and since Draco doesn't need new ones, he and Tom will be going elsewhere." 'Leo's' inquisitive eyes darted to Draco and he pouted when the blonde shook his head, not telling him. "Fine." 'Leo' crossed his arms, but let them drop when he had to hurry to catch up to Severus as Draco and Tom split from the group. They opened the door to be greeted by a quaint room with materials fluttering around. The interior was made up of two pedestals for outfitting and a few backrooms seemingly for special fittings and staff on the right side of the shop. There were fashionable plush chairs off to the left side and a tasteful counter in the way back. Harry smiled- and Severus glowered- as the cheery Madam Malkin herself came over with a bright smile on her face. "And what may I do for you today, Professor Snape?" Severus' mind brought up a vague photo of a slightly plump girl in seventh-year Hufflepuff during his sorting. "I would like for you to design Hogwarts robes and normal robes for this young man here. He is a special case." The Madam raised a perfectly trimmed eyebrow in interest and hummed. "A backroom then?" At Severus' nod, the designer led the two males through her store, magically picking up material and tools as she went. Opening a door with magic, the seamstress allowed the men inside before magically warding the room. "Alright, so what is this special case, I wonder?" 'Leo' cast a quick look at Severus, who understood the meaning. "Everything Harry, she won't tell." A small gasp escaped Madam Malkin's mouth as the aristocratic Malfoy-looking boy disappeared, only to be replaced with a gorgeous young man with antlers, wings, and a tail, staring up at her with glowing emerald eyes. "My, Mr. Potter, how you have changed since I last saw you! If I must say, you look rather divine. Just wait until I finish making your robes! You'll be absolutely irresistible."
