"Dad?"

"Why didn't you tell me you were famous?" He came over and hugged me "Ah and you must be her best friend that I see in all the videos with her. Colby?"

"Yes that's me," he smiled awkwardly

"It's good to finally see you,"

"It's good to see you back for no reason," I rolled my eyes

"That's no way to treat your father," he scolded me

"It is when you leave your wife and your daughter to run away with a guidance counselor in the middle of the night and cause your daughter so much pain because you turned your wife into an alcoholic and your daughter alone to pay the bills and do everything because your wife can't fend for herself!" As I continued to speak my words became faster and a few tears slid down my face

He was speechless

"Leave," I said to him "you're only going to cause more pain by being here,"

I turned around and looked at Colby

"Let's go,"

I lead him up to my room and I shut my door.

"Are you okay?" He asked me

I looked in the mirror and wiped the few tears in my face

I turned and smiled at him "yep I'm fine,"

"Breezy," he said disappointed because he knew I wasn't telling the truth

"I'll be fine Colby don't worry about me,"

He stood up from my bed and walked over to me and hugged me. The scent of his cologne wafted over me and it made me smile.

"So what should we do?" I asked

"It's up to you," he said back

"Nooo Colby I asked you what we should do," I whined

"Well it's up to you,"

"Ughhh, Fine. Wanna.. watch a movie or something?"

"A movie is fine, we can do that,"

"Okay what movie," I asked breaking from the hug

"I don't care it's up to you,"

"No Colby! You can't do that. If I ask you 'what movie do YOU want to watch' it means what movie do YOU want to watch. Not me,"

"Well I don't care so you can pick one,"

"Okay how about we play movie roulette?" I suggested

"Oh? And what is that?"

"We get on my Disney+ and then we go to all movies and I'll close my eyes and scroll down and pick a random one. You'll do the same as then we can watch those movies,"

"That works," he laughed

"Alright," I said Turing in my tv.

We ended up picking Lady and the Tramp, and Aladdin. The originals. I turned off the lights and then crawled to the head of my bed. As I put the remote down I leaned back against the head board. Colby was also already leaning against it so he laid his head on top of mine. And I smiled through the darkness.
