I tied the last of the premade baggies and finished putting them in the display case. I was grabbing a box to restock the case when I heard the door bell ring.

I grabbed the six Hershey bars I needed and walked to the front

"Oh hey!" I called seeing a familiar brunette

"Hey!" He called back "I hope you know I work here now,"

I dropped the bars and my jaw dropped

"The Colby Brock works at my candy store? Wow,"

He chuckled

"Yeah well you just begged and begged me so I just had to say yes,"

"Oh shut up I did not!"

"Bri!" Tabitha yelled coming in the door

"How many times? It's Brielle. BRE L,"

"Because I'm the manager and you're the only one working today you have to teach the rookie," she pointed at Colby and batted her eyelashes at him while sitting on the counter to the left of the display case. The one I JUST cleaned

"If she causes you any trouble just let me know and I'll get her fired," she 'booped' his nose. She then walked off

"That was weird," I admitted after she was out of earshot

"Agreed," he laughed

"So you're really working here? With this lameo?"

"I mean you did tell me I should work here. It also Ives me a chance to like I dunno. Not wake up at noon everyday,"

"Your loss," I laugh a little

"So what now?" He asked

"Well first off," I grabbed a brown apron and threw it at him "wear that,"

He slipped it in over his head and tried to tie the the back. I watched him struggle. I laughed lightly and walked behind him. I grabbed the ropes out of his hands and tied it for him.

"Thanks," he said

I smiled at him

"Okay so to start to the day off we clean off the counter tops," I said gesturing to the tops

He nodded

"Then," I grabbed his wrist and drug him to the back room "you stock up on anything that isn't stocked."

I pulled him back out

"Do not make the bags without me here because they can be confusing,"

"Goodness I didn't line this job would be so hard," he chuckled

"Yeah,"

I also showed him how to use the register and greet the customers.

I looked at the clock on the wall.

"Colby we should lock up now,"

He looked at the clock too

"Oh yeah," he laughed "I didn't realize it was so late,"

"Me either,"

I took out my apron. And I threw it at Colby

"Thank you," I called as it hit him in the face

"Ouch,"

I laughed a little and watched him hang it up. I grabbed the keys and we walked out. I shirt the lights off and heard the lock click. I took out the key and walked to Colby's car

"I'm going to force you to give me rides home from now on," I said getting in

"Oh wow no 'hey can I get a ride?' No it's just 'give me rides home you have no choice' then." He also got in and laughed a little.

I opened the door

"Okay I'll walk home at night through the sketchy streets of l.a then,"

He grabbed my hand and pulled me back in.

"No I'll give you rides,"

"Okay then," I rebuckled my seatbelt

I opened the door and saw my mother sitting on the couch

"Wait I thought you were kidnapped and not coming home?" She questioned

"I thought you didn't care about me mama," I set my bag down on the kitchen table and went to get a water

"I do care. Who else would clean?"

I rolled my eyes and walked up stairs grabbing my bag again.

I shut my door and took off my shoes. My door opened again and I saw my mom.

"Well because I didn't know you were coming home I'm throwing a party. People are going to be here any minute so In the bathroom is a dress I want you to wear," she pointed her thumb behind her to the bathroom door

I nodded.

I walked in and saw the tight black dress. It was about mid thigh length and it didn't have straps. I slipped it on. It wasn't me but if it made my mom happy then I'll wear it. I grabbed a pair of heels to match and walked downstairs to music blaring. I looked around and didn't see anyone I knew in sight.

"Hey there," he man put his hands on my hips

I jerked out of his touch and quickly studied his appearance

He had brown eyes and greasy black hair that was lifted upwards. His stubble gave away his age. He seemed about 30.

"I know of a bedroom we can go to," he put his hands on my hips again

I walked away and sat on the couch. He followed me. He put his hand on my leg a little to high up

"Umm excuse me how old are you?" I asked

"33 baby,"

"Don't call me That," I snapped

He brought his hand up higher trying to go underneath my dress. I screamed and everyone looked at me.

I went upstairs and grabbed my phone

Me: you'll know when you get here. I'm going to be in my room so come up and get me please

I put my phone down and sat on my bed. I heard the door open and that man came in

"Oh look you found a bedroom for us,"

"No this is my room!"

"Oh even better!" He came and sat down on the bed with me

"Don't touch me you pervert!"

He was taken back

"Oh come on baby," he said "it'll only be a little fun. You can't be a virgin. You're was to sexy for that. I'm sure you've had over twenty men,"

I'm lucky I took my heels of. I kicked him away from me. He fell of the foot of the bed. He stood up and repeated what he was doing. Crawling to me on all fours.

"Just leave me alone!" I let a tear slip and another one followed before Niagara Falls began pouring form my eyes, ruining my mascara and the rest of my makeup.

He came in almost connection with me when my door opened. We both turned to the door. Colby. Thank god.

"Excuse me. Leave," the man said

"I'll leave. But I'm taking her with me," he pointed at me

"You didn't tell me you had a boyfriend," the man looked at me

I looked at Colby and he gave a very slight nod unnoticeable to someone who wasn't staring at him

"Yeah I do. That's why you need to get off me," I said pushing him back

"I don't believe you," he said looking at the two of us.

"Why?" I questioned

"You two don't seem like it,"

"Come on breezy let's go," he said coming up with a nickname on the spot

I tried my best not to laugh. I grabbed my shoes and I jumped on Colby's back. We then walked out and to his car. He set me down in the passenger seat and then went over to his.

"What happened?" He asked looking at me before turning the car on

"Rapist," I replied

He nodded

"Oh by the way. Never. Ever. Call me that again," I let my laugh out Cushing him to laugh with me

"Well I needed something sooo,"

We then Drove to the traphouse and away from my mother's immature party
