Noah's pov
The next morning I woke up because of Tyson,Percy,Hae-Joon,and my twin snoring in a four part harmony. Huh. Percy really does drool in his sleep. It turns out that the other boys do too. I'm still not sure about Raven.

She had left a yellow sticky note on Percy's forehead.

Hey. I'm going out for a flight to this island I know. I'll be out all day at the very least. Don't you dare try to follow me,you know I'll be fine.

Oh no. She had barely gotten out of the infirmary yesterday and she was already going on some long trip to an island? Gods,no. I've got to tell Nico. He knows her best.

Raven's pov
I hate it when my brothers worry about me. Why should they doubt my abilities?

My wings cut through the air,and I didn't have to beat them as hard or often as the genetic recombinant known as Maximum Ride had to. One of the advantages to having such messed up genes.

Even though I was blind,I could still sense the island below me. My senses and skills are greater than those of a normal demigod to compensate for me being blind.

I began a steep dive,feeling the sting of the icy wind blowing into my face and whipping my hair into a frenzy. For me, being in the air was almost as exhilarating as the water. I am at home in any of the three brothers' realms.

I could sense the ground rushing up to meet me,and immediately pulled out of the stoop, shooting upwards again. I landed on a sheltered area near the top of the cliffside. There was someone here that I had to see.

I was facing the ocean. That much I could tell. The sun beat down,and a fresh sea breeze stirred the air,ruffling my feathers. The crashing of the breakers was as familiar to me as Nico's heartbeat,which I knew very well. Don't judge,we were roommates for a while on a mission Hades sent me on.

My own heart beat fast,pounding to the rhythm of the waves on the shore, which came relentlessly,one after another. The blood flowing through my veins seemed to stir,called with a siren song back to the sea of its origin. Yet another part of me was drawn to the skies,and another the underworld. I belonged nowhere. Just like the one who I came to see.

I finally heard what I was waiting for. The velvet whisper of sweeping feathers. I heard someone-or something-land lightly behind me.

"Hello,Sera."

Hazel's pov
Nico's breathing was shallow,and he was barely conscious,just like he had been after he was rescued from the bronze jar. He still had that same fractured look in his eyes that he got after going through tartarus,and it broke my heart to see that he was still so damaged. Belinda looked as frantic as I felt. Nico's life force was waning. I could feel it. Nectar and ambrosia wouldn't be enough this time. Nico said something,his voice barely a whisper. Just one word. "Raven."

That confused me. Why would he ask for his teacher? Then the answer hit. "She can heal you," I whispered in realization. So I got out his phone and made the call that could save my brother's life.

"Hazel,Belinda,"Raven acknowledged, quiet as ever, appearing out of nowhere. I shivered involuntarily. Out of all her siblings and cousins, Raven was the most vampiric. It made me uneasy.

The teenage nonhuman kneeled by my brother's side,sensitive hands feeling for broken bones. My heart sank further as the vampire spoke. "Hm,severe blood loss,two broken ribs,but no internal bleeding." Dark blue sparks flew as Raven worked her magic. In the chaos,Belinda and I were separated from Nico and Raven.

Then the waters of the lake and the little Tiber gathered,combining with a wind that picked up out of nowhere, mingling with the cold that swept through the camp, creating one major storm that devastated the enemy forces and ending the battle.

Reyna got up on a platform. "Okay! Who created that storm? Percy? Jason?"

Both boys shook their heads. "Not me," said the blond.

"It wasn't me," added the human son of Poseidon.

"Then who was it? Tell me!"commanded Reyna.

Hae-Joon stepped forward. "There's only one person I know that can do this on their own," he said grimly. "And she's not supposed to be using her powers right now because she just got out of the infirmary." Suddenly I knew who he was referring to.

Raven stood in the middle of a patch of frost blackened ground, supporting Nico. There was an obvious unhealthy pallor visible underneath her tan,and blood from her wounds,both recent and reopened, was creating a dark patch on her already dark shirt, but Nico was alive. She created the storm all by herself?

The sun god appeared. "He's right,you know," Apollo said,winking at Raven. "You're extremely insomniac,anemic, and shouldn't be using your powers so much. After all,you've already shadow traveled and summoned lightning today. An entire storm is overdoing it. You must come with me to stay and heal."

Raven rolled her eyes. "You just want to have more time to flirt and try to win me over." The Apollo kids gagged.

Apollo smiled dazzlingly. "Why yes, that's certainly part of it." The god scanned Raven's thin frame,like there was something off. Then hr yanked up her shirt just a little bit to reveal swathes of bandages, with some blood soaking through, and fresh slashes visible. To her credit,Raven didn't panic. I know I would've. Plus,those wounds looked painful.

"Raven," Apollo said in a disapproving tone. "When did these happen?"

She didn't answer,just pulled her shirt back down,glowering as usual.

The god's smile returned full-force."Don't you dare shadow travel away,you're too weak for that. A pretty little thing like you shouldn't fight so much." I gagged at that thought.

"I won't shadow travel," Raven promised. "I'll light travel instead." Before Apollo,Hae-Joon,or Percy could protest,Raven disappeared in a flash of light. Oh gods.
