Haru looked at me questioningly.
"How are we supposed to do that?" He asked. I shrugged.
"Who knows, but we're gonna find a way!" I punched the air victoriously "man, this is the most enthusiastic I've felt in years! I've always been miserable and scared..." I slowly my enthusiasm faded. Haru smiled and swing his arm round my neck in a half hug.
"It's okay." He said. It was nice I know that a guy I just met already cared for me this much. Even though he didn't know for sure everything would be fine, it was nice to know there was a glisten of hope in it all.

"Alright. I say, when they come in to feed us, we beat them up and make a run for it, spun like a plan?" I looked over for support
"I'm in." Haru said "y'know, you're really weird and dangerous..." I stared at the ground sadly... I thought he cared for me... "I like you!" He said confidently with a nod. I smiled at him... 'I like you too' I thought.

It was time for the plan to come into action. I sat on my bed, ready to pounce at any minute. I noticed Haru was shaking.
"Are you okay Haru?" I asked him softly.
"I-I think so..."
"Everything's gonna be fine... We are going to get out of here." I tried to encourage him and me. I was nervous too. I heard loud footsteps come close and stop at the cell next to us.
"Y-you ready?" He whispered. Not looking away from the door. I nodded.
"Here we go." The door swung open and my senses took over. I leapt over to the guard and started kicking furiously. I grabbed his hands and twisted them, he was silent but his face told me he was in agonising pain. The man broke free of my grip and started to choke me. I was struggling to breathe. My vision was fading. At least now Haru would have the chance to escape. And I could be happy that me dieting would lead to someone else's freedom. I stared at the mans face knowing that this would be the last sight I would ever see...
