"Here's an important question that I just need to throw out there... why do all these buildings look the same?!" Ozone exclaimed a little while later as he and Tiberius walked along the sidewalk. Despite the fact that he had lived on the streets his entire life, the hairless cat had a poor sense of direction. It often led to him getting lost even in the most familiar of places.

"Maybe because they are built with the same material?" Tiberius suggested.

"Geez, that was the best answer I have ever heard," Ozone replied.

"Thank you."

"That wasn't exactly a- never mind," Ozone mumbled. He looked around at their surroundings, trying to find something familiar. However, the hairless feline couldn't recognize a thing. And it didn't help that he had never been in lower Manhattan much. He was starting to fear that they were lost. Groaning, he sat down. "I need a minute, okay?" he muttered. Taking in a deep breath, he tried to get his thoughts together. But the sound of running paws didn't help.

"Ozone, we should probably get going," Tiberius piped up.

"What now? I'm try- oh come on!" Ozone hissed as he turned around to discover that one of Mason's henchmen was racing towards them. Another one soon appeared out of the blue.

"I should be running but my legs aren't listening to my brain," Ozone murmured. Looking down, he saw that he actually was running as he meowed, "Oh would you look at that. They are listening to me."

"Less chatter and more running!" Tiberius cried, trying to avoid getting stepped on by people. Ducking under a man's suitcase, Ozone glanced around for any options. Spying an alley, he called out, "This way!" The hairless cat swerved around several obstacles caused by humans, may it be shoes or strollers or canes. Tiberius was right behind him. Glancing over his shoulder, the old hawk murmured, "They're still after us."

"We can lose them!" Ozone shouted reassuringly, reaching the alley with Tiberius. Breathing a sigh of relief, he turned around just as a third cat leapt out of nowhere and pinned him down with brute force...
