Knocking the back of his head against the pavement underneath him, Ozone's vision blurred out. He could vaguely feel his attacker's sharp claws digging into his shoulders. Nearby, he could hear a screech of pain that sounded like it was from Tiberius. Just then, he felt himself gasping for air as the burly cat on top of him pressed one large paw against his throat. Blinking his green eyes rapidly, Ozone's vision somewhat cleared up to find fangs dripping with drool hanging just a couple inches above his face, which was turning a deep blue color.

All of the sudden, the attacking cat yowled in agony. The pressure on Ozone's throat was removed. Gasping for air, the hairless feline lifted his head in time to see the burly cat now attacking Tiberius. Nearby, another cat was shaking himself, three long scratches running across his chest. Getting to his paws, Ozone turned his attention to the one who had originally attacked him. Hissing, he pounced on the larger feline. The cat tried to throw him off but he dug his claws in deep. Meanwhile, the other cat rushed forward to help his comrade but was stopped by Tiberius.

At last, Mason's crony was able to throw Ozone off his back. Falling on the ground, the hairless cat was about to get back up when the two cats from earlier barged into the alley and jumped on him, raking their claws all over his head and body. Yowling, Ozone began to blindly land blows on his attackers but couldn't provide much damage as he was beginning to tire. Just when he thought it was the end for him, the largest cat suddenly screeched at the top of their lungs. Whirling around, he hissed, "You little-" However, he didn't finish his sentence. All that could be heard was a gurgling noise coming forth from his throat before the massive feline dropped down. Tiberius stood there, talons stained blood red. Stepping forward, he growled at the remaining cats.

Taking one look at the corpse of their comrade, the three felines fled with their tails between their legs...
