Annie followed me in, Hilda was busy staring at her phone, whatever she founds interesting must have really got all of her attention.

"Is that Khloe?" I heard Kelvin ask from the kitchen, there is the responsible one.

Hilda finally raised her head thanks to Kelvin's question, I really can't believe she didn't see me walk in.

"Yes" I replied completely ignoring Hilda's look of confusion.

"It's really interesting here K" Hilda said.

K, nice one! Kelvin splint out of the kitchen to see whatever was interesting, some people just can't mind their business.

"Hi" Annie said to them but they were still surprised by her presence.

"She asked about you earlier, she said she was Annie! Why are you two together?" Kelvin asked me.

Oh, so she had knocked then decided to wait up for me. Wow!

"To talk" I replied him

"Talk as in with mouth and not hands right? Don't want anyone leaving here as a corpse, although I can guess who it'd be" Kelvin asked.

One. My brother is a total drama king and an over thinker! I mean, why would he think we were going to fight? Does he think I'm one of those crazy women that fight over men? Petty much!

"I don't fight no bitch over a man okay? We just going to talk, whatever that means in your book" Annie replied him with an attitude.

Wait a sec.... am I the bitch?

"Damn! She just called you a bitch" Hilda stated like I didn't hear when she said it. I heard clearly and she had no rights.

"Why you all so uptight? Was just clearing the air that we weren't gonna fight" Annie said but no one here was buying it. She called me a bitch and she meant it!

Chris could be her fiancé and all but he had been my best friend since forever and my first love of that counted and I'm currently trying to get over him but here she was saying shit about me.

"Okay bitch" Hilda replied her with just as much attitude as she spoke with.

"Did you just call me a bitch?" She asked obviously pissed. Oh, it pisses her off?

"Oh take it easy there, quit being so uptight" Kelvin replied her smiling but I knew deep down that his smile was meant to annoy her.

He was trying to get to her, mocking her and she clearly got that.

"Oh, taking sides with your little girlfriend now right?" Annie asked in reply.

"Girlfriend? Ha..... whaaaat!.... oh please"
"What are you..... he? Me?"

They both stuttered as they tried to cover up but they weren't trying hard enough if they wanted to hide their relationship, even a stranger could tell. Fools!

"Are we going to talk about what we can in for? Bitch?" I asked her

"Yes bitch" she replied.

"It's so hot in here! Why do I feel one of them won't come out alive" Kelvin said returning to the kitchen because apparently whatever he was cooking was already burning.

Hilda also went with him, leaving Annie and I who were still shooting daggers at each other.

Once we had calmed, I went in to get all I could. The school year book I newly obtained from my high school, some pictures I took with Aunt Lanna and Chris, some Jeremy was in and his dad was in.

I gave them all to her hoping she would find something.

"Here is Chris in my high school year book, this is to prove we went to school together" I told her.

She nodded in understanding as she stared at the young Chris that used to be my best friend. To that Chris at least, I can first.

"Who is this kid?" She asked me.

"That's Jeremy, Chris's kid brother. You didn't know he had one?" I asked her surprised.

Those two used to be pretty close, Chris was completely broken when he died, it was so sad that his dad dies very shortly after then.

"I didn't, neither did Chris. There is a lot about him he doesn't know" she told me.

I knew it!

"Can't he like, see a doctor or something?" I asked her.

"I came here at night because that is the only time I can successfully sneak out! We got a new house and all but we still feel his mom is watching us. So we are being watchful of where we go" she explained.

Must be crazy, I wonder who exactly Aunt Lanna had become. She was sounding like a completely different person and it was starting to confuse me.

She brought out a picture and showed it to me.

"This is the Aunt Lanna I know. They look the same but if you look well, the new one has a sharper and scary kind of look. The one you have looks quite alive and happy" she explained to me and I nodded in agreement.

"It wasn't easy losing her son and her husband all in the space of a month. It must have broken her" I reasoned.

"Chris started remembering some things, he said their voices are slightly different". She told me.

"Let's run a DNA then".

"No one can get his mom's sample. It's risky" she told me in fear.

"Either ways, you can't prove anything without it". I stated clearly, I could tell from her face that she agreed I was right but she was too scared.

After she left that night, I told Kelvin and Hilda about everything, they were more than shocked. We also wondered where Fiona went and what she was hiding from us. Just when her friends needed her, she disappeared into thin air.

It's so bad, at least she could give us a call to check up on us. She could at least request her break officially, I don't want Mrs. Harts thinking I'm making unnecessary exceptions for my friends.
