-Chapter 22-

N/A; G'day my fellow readers, if you're wondering why I am doing this Author Note, it is because the video I have put on this chapter, is this books trailer. I made it recently for this book. I will say, that I am not perfect and am still learning. I would love feedback from you lot, even tips :3.

If the video, doesn't work, try this link:

Anyways, To the chapter!.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  My ears rung loudly, while my body and mind became slowly and reluctantly conscious to the world again. My eyes protested to open, sand particles stuck in my eyelashes, but they soon fluttered open, blinking madly at the brightness.
Some type of groan escaped my dry lips. My throat hurting instantly from making what should be an easy and simple sound to produce without a problem. This was a instant reminder that I was badly dehydrated. I felt the sandy wind that rusted against my clothing that was most likely dirty, ripped and horrible. The sand stung against my skin lightly.
I slowly moved my head, for my neck to protest in pain. A stabbing feeling between the join of my shoulder to my neck. Great, I probably have whiplash or something. Using all my strength I could muster into my hands, I pushed myself up the best I could, with a lot of struggle. Especially with my muscles and joints screaming with pain. Didn't help my left arm still had a cast on it, mind you my arm still hasn't even fully healed. I have a feeling it never will, if I keep ending up in these awful situations.
Eyes scrunching up slightly from the sandy wind, I tried my best to see where Sunstreaker and Sideswipe were...but all I could see was...sand...clouds...and some more sand. Wait...
Wind.
Sand.
Cloudy Sky-
Sandstorm.
I freaked, knowing how fast they could form and getting stuck in one of them could-can kill you. For the hell am I dying from sand!. If I can survive a frigging Decepticon attack multiple times, than I can sure as hell survive this!.
I didn't know where I had got all the courage and pride from, neither did I know how I was able to get to my feet and start running for a shelter. Short blonde hair rippled against my face, the sand getting dragged into the wind from under my feet. The cloud of sand followed me, chased me, while I ran for my life.
Brown eyes wide. Legs aching. Adrenaline pumping through my veins, heart thumping against my chest. A race against time.
Tik.
Tok.
Tik.
Can you hear it?, because I sure can.
It ticked at the same time my heart beated. My eyes narrowed, pulling my shirt up slightly to  cover my mouth and nose with my right hand, not wanting sand getting into my air-ways at all. My eyes snapped onto a cave like structure in the distance and I instantly ran towards it. It was my only hope.
As soon as my pretty much destroyed sneakers hit rocky smooth flooring, I collapsed. My body thudding against the harsh ground, that I seem to keep slamming into a lot these days. I think I am starting to get used to honestly.
I wheezed, huffing and puffing for air. My lungs burned, my stomach growled viciously, hungry- no starving. I knew I wouldn't last long. I was weak, injured, hungry, thirsty...and most of all I had no idea where the Terror Twins were.
...If they were even alive.
My eyes scrunched up. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't even cry. I slowly opened my eyes, to look about the dark, cold cave. I shivered slightly at the thought, and I crawled pathetically further into the cave, getting away from the whipping and harsh sandy winds.
Rolling onto my back, I stared up at the rocky ceiling for a bit. I licked my dry and chapped lips, but sadly my tongue was also dry, so it did little to help. Lifting my right hand, I placed it on a large rock, and pushed against it to sit myself up. I lent against the moist cave wall, my eyes scanned over my pale skin for injuries, but it was too dirty to even spot some of the freckles I have on my arms and legs.
My body numb, I looked around the dark and empty cave with lazy eyes. I didn't know what to do and I just felt so tired...I don't even know what happened. My worry was higher than the damn clouds I swear. I just wanted to know if the Twins were okay, if everyone at base was okay, if Optimus was okay.
-But I don't know and I hate it. I envy it. I want to know, and I want to know now. Not later, not soon. Heck when the hell is later or soon?. That could be a hour- a day-a month. My head fell against the wall gently, I knew if I hit it any harder, I would probably become unconscious again. Not what I wanted at all.
My eyes brightened when I heard the sound of an engine rumbling and purring, tires driving through sand. My head snapped to the entry/exit of the cave with much hope.
"He-p", I tried to shout, but my voice failed me and I found myself pushing myself to crawl. My heart thrumming with hope...desperate for help...
"Help!", I forced out, my vice very faint, but the cave helped it echo and sound louder. Which I was thankful for, but I knew the harsh sandy wind would block it out. My eyes dulled at that.
No human could hear me. No...
I heard the tires start to drive away.
"He-y!, Hey!, I-I'm in here!. HELP-P-P!", I stumbled and wobbled on the last of sentence, pain filling my voice and throat, vocal cords straining with protest and aching with agony.
I felt the tires stop and turn back around. The engine louder.
My eyes brightened once again, but they scrunched up when the vehicle faced the cave entrance, headlights and high beams flaring on. I raised my shaking and bleeding hands to shield my face. I blinked madly, to see-
A familiar slightly dented and scraped red paint-jobbed sports car. My heart dropped at that, as I easily recognized whom it was. I am so- as Ratchet puts it; fragged.
"Ah, Isn't it the Goldens Autobot pet?.", The vehicle sneered slyly and smoothly, lights flashing and review mirrors adjusting at the sight of me. The car seemed to chuckle slowly and rock back and forth on its wheels, silver rims rather shiny.
"So weak and pathetic the human race truly is."
My rescuer...is a Decepticon.
"If you thought this was the ride in hell sweetheart, I am going to allow you to really experience the ride."
