Five

🌈 A negative mind will never lead to a positive life 🌈
I walked into the school, knowing that this was the first day in weeks the doctor would allow Heaven to go to school. Her dad was driving her, while I skateboarded. She still didn't know exactly where the school was.
I looked up at all the judgemental people. That was the difference now. Without Heaven always with me, I actually cared what people thought of me. I cared that they thought I was insane, and I hated it.
Heaven and I had four out six of our classes together. That was usually awesome, but not today... or the rest of this next month or so.
Class one. Heaven kept eyeing me.
Class two. Heaven looked so confused it scared me.
Class three. Heaven started walking up to me, but I was saved by the bell.
Class four. Heaven came up to me at my locker after class.
"Who are you?" Heaven asked me. "I know you. You were in the car ride home with me."
"Er... I gotta get going. Bye," I tried, starting to walk away. But heaven grabbed my shirt collar, holding me back.
"I'm not dumb. I mean... I don't think so. I want to know who you are. Are you my sister? My friend? My cousin? I... I'm just confused. I want answers."
A tear rolled down my cheek. Stay strong, I told myself. Don't tell her anything. I burst out in tears and ran to the girl's bathroom. She followed me, until a school teacher stopped her and told her to get to class.
I pulled out my cell phone and called my mom. "Hey, mom? Can you come pick me up? I'm just not handling this well."
"Alright, sweetie. Can you walk or skateboard?"
"Sure."
"Okay. Just be sure to sign out. Are you okay?" She asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine, I guess. I'll talk to you when I get home, okay?"
"Alright. See you."
"Bye," I hung up. I signed out and walked home.

I talked to my mom for about a half hour and then collapsed on my bed. I took out my blue diary and began writing.
Dear Diary,
It's me again. Mom gave me this diary the day Heaven went to the hospital. She told me it would help me get my feelings out and put me in a better mood. To be honest, I don't feel any better yet. Am I supposed to? I really don't understand any of this. How am I supposed to avoid my best friend in the world? Impossible. There's no one like Heaven. I mean, NO ONE. I can't just forget about her like she has forgotten about me.
Random fact about me #5: I strongly dislike beans.
