Chapter seven

"Levi!" Reece and Raven ran into the boys arms, who laughed at them. Nearly all of the group ran over to greet the young man, leaving Harry, Hermione and the Diggorys wondering who he was. Harry guessed he was Charlie's best friend, he was right about this of course and after a short talk with Hermione, he followed her over to the group to meet the man. Levi seemed very confused by the sudden attention by the Weasleys, Raven, Harry and Hermione, but took it all in his stride and greeted them all happily. Although he did look slightly embarrassed when Mr Weasley pulled him into a hug as though he was one of the man's own children.

"Hey Arthur." Levi spoke awkwardly, but he also seemed touched by the gesture as though it wasn't something he was used to experiencing.

"Why aren't you apperating like the rest of them?" Ron asked as everyone made a circle around the portkey and Mr Weasley started doing a count down.

"I'm not lazy." Levi shrugged, Raven and Ron, who were on either side of him, laughed. "And I hate apperating." He added. Everyone grabbed hold of the portkey and suddenly they were shot up into a swirling vortex as they travelled to the location of the quidditch world cup. Travelling by portkey was not a pleasant experience, and it felt like your spleen was trying to hit its way out of your body as you're thrown around.

"Let go!" Mr Weasley yelled. They did so and shot into the vortex, which was resembling a twister. Hermione, Ron, Harry, Raven, Reece, Fred, George and Ginny hit the floor, but the adults and Cedric travelled gracefully down and landed on the grass beside them, free of bruises and looking slightly smug. Raven sat up.

"That was awesome!" She declared, causing Fred and George to laugh.

"Ow." Ginny and Reece complained in sync, obviously having different sentiments to the older girl.

"Only you would think travelling by portkey is a good idea." Fred laughed. She punched him on the arm jokingly.

"It's a great idea! Why don't they tell us this at school?" She asked, she was being serious, but the others didn't seem to think so, finding her opinions on portkeys very amusing.

"They did, you just weren't listening." Fred shot back, she snorted.

"And you were?" she responded, laughing. George watched the humorous exchange between his brother, before finally asking the girl if he could talk to her.

"Sure, what's up?" She asked him, her laughter from her talk with Fred finally dying down.

"About earlier, I just... want to say that I'm sorry." He told her. She laughed and wrapped her arms around his neck, hugging his head close to hers.

"Don't worry about it! I'm not mad, or bothered, I'm just glad you're not acting weird any more." She told him, laughing and broadening her smile when she heard him laugh.

"That's great! Let's go!" He yelled, she was already laughing a lot, but now she was clutching her side in pain as she had laughed too much. George grabbed her and pulled her towards the group, who had already set off. They quickly found Fred and began their trip to the campsite.

They were told where their campsite was and met a muggle man at the gate. Whilst Mr Weasley dealt with the man (with assistance from Harry) Raven, Fred and George were doing a bit of cloud spotting, mainly to cure their boredness, after all no one wants to be bored of being bored because being bored is boring.

"Hey, that one looks like you!" Raven declared, pointing at a pair of clouds that looked rather like two potatoes.

"Are you saying we look like potatoes?" George sounded offended.

"I'm saying you look like a cloud, which happens to look like a potato." Raven corrected him with a knowing smirk on her face.

"Why Raven, we take great offence at that." Fred told her. She smiled at him and was about to reply with a witty comment, when Mr Weasley called the group to follow him, they entered the campsite to find their tents, which looked like a pair of shabby, old two-man tents, which seemed to go great with the potato clouds that Raven had seen just before.

She found Harry's sceptical look at the two tents amusing, so she gently took his wrist and led him inside, laughing at his astounded expression.

"You're welcome." She told him as she joined Fred and George in the kitchen, checking out all the stuff built into the tent.

After checking out the boys' tent, they went into the girls' tent, which was decorated in the same '40s décor as the other one, but lacked the significant smell of cats, not that it was a bad thing.

When they arrived back out onto the grass in front of the tent, Mr Weasley decided to start a fire, telling Ron (when the boy moaned about it) that they needed to blend in and act like muggles to avoid suspicion. He sent Harry, Ron and Hermione to fetch water and started to get the fire going. The others sat down on the grass. Ginny used Levi as a leaning post, something the young man moaned about profusely but didn't actually do anything about it, but that could have been because he was talking happily about some strange creature with Reece. Fred was sat watching the fire, or what was supposed to be the fire, his mind obviously working on some sort of prank. Raven had rested her head on George's lap, which he didn't mind.

"Ginny, do you mind?" Levi moaned for the billionth time.

"Not one bit." Ginny responded, causing him to sigh but accept his fate.

"Ground control to major Tom." Raven started singing the first song that came into her head. George was gently stroking her hair, she wasn't entirely sure why he was doing this, but found it extremely comforting.

"What are you singing?" He asked her, she shrugged.

"Muggle song." She murmured back.

"I like it, keep going." He told her, she smiled slightly, and carried on with the song.

"Ground control to major Tom. Take your protein pills and put your helmet on." She continued, as the trio returned to the group.

"What took you so long?" Fred asked, looking up from where he was watching and laughing at his father trying to make a fire.

"There was a queue." Ron responded and then frowned as he tried to figure out what his father was doing.

"Trying to light a fire." Fred answered, pointing at Mr Weasley and the pile of broken/burnt out matches surrounding him.

"Come here Mr Weasley." Hermione said kindly, helping the man start the fire. Then he started to make their lunch.

Bill, Charlie and Percy apperated into the campsite.

"Hello Father, just apperated." Percy stated the obvious pompously, earning a few glares from the rest of them, "Ah excellent! Lunch!"

"Hold it Percy! We've been here for ages, get to the back of the queue!" Levi spoke up, making the others laugh and Percy scowl.

"Levi, you haven't done anything." Ron pointed out. Levi laughed.

"That's where you are wrong Ronald! I was a leaning post for your sister, that is more then enough." Levi answered, earning more laughs.

Charlie sat down beside him.

"You came then?" He asked quietly, he seemed surprised and glad, Levi rolled his eyes.

" I said I would." He answered.

After a delightful spending spree and the twins betting all their money away to Ludo Bagman, it was time for the quidditch world cup.
