Braylee's POV:

My whole body relaxes as no one comes into view. I slowly walk up to the now opened door, and look down the hallway.

Nobody.

I'm so glad my dad didn't hear me talking on the phone with Liam.

It would've been over.

*two weeks later*

Two weeks later, and I'm looking deeper into my moms "death". How the hell would she have died falling down our stairs?

Yes, she would've gotten major injuries, but the autopsy reports show she broke her neck. Which just doesn't make sense to me.

She couldn't have broken her neck falling down those stairs. Unless...my dad pushed her.

Which I already knew, but why would he do such a thing? She never did anything bad, she loved him so much. Why would he just...kill her? It just doesn't add up.

He pushes her down the stairs, but for what? That's all I have so far.

I need to search deeper, maybe search for that autopsy report. And, prove my dad killed her.

Liam's POV:

Over the past two weeks I have been avoiding to talk to Braylee. And if I have to, it's short talk.

I just can't talk to her like everything will be okay. After she helps us, we have all agreed to get rid of her.

It has to be this way.

She knows too much anyway. That was our plan from the beginning. Get the money, and then kill her.

I can't help but feel she has fallen for me over the course of the kidnapping. Stockholm Syndrome, they call it.

I don't believe she liked me at first. But, when I opened up to her while we watched that scary movie...I believe she had started to develop feelings for me.

Sadly, for I have done to her.

I've tried to get her out of my head. Not wanting to regret agreeing to the boys killing her. This is for Danielle, and Sophia.

I feel my heart lurch as I see an incoming call from Braylee. I pick it up, heart pounding.

"Hello, Braylee?" I ask.

"Hello, is this Lucas?" A male voice asks.
