Chapter 3

Flynn's POV

"RUN!" Jack yelled to us as the palace guards ran after us.

I stuffed the crown into my satchel and darted into the woods. Hiccup, Jack, and I ran in long strides over stumps and roots.

"Oh crap!" I heard Hiccup shout.

"What is it?" I shouted back. "Well, besides being chased by the Royal Guard, its Maximus again!" He explained with a hint of sarcasm at the beginning.

"No need for the sass." I laughed, narrowly dodging a tree.

Suddenly, Jack pulled Hiccup and I up onto a branch, and we landed on Maximus' back.

We left his rider in the dust. Oops.

"HIYAA!" Hiccup yelled, using the reins. Maximus stopped immediately and turned to us, the three intruders on his back.

"Nice horsey?" I tried, but the stubborn horse bucked us off.

We landed up a good fifty feet from Maximus and darted around a corner.

"Where to now?" I yelled, still running for my life. I gasped as Jack pulled us behind some vines and covered our mouths.

I held my breath as I saw Maximus' shadow. He sniffed the ground, but he seemed to have lost us and instead continued on.

"Phew," Hiccup sighed. "That was close. Thanks, Jack."

But Jack wasn't listening. He was focused on the clearing behind the vines, and the huge tower.

Jack's POV

I stared in awe at the tower. It was amazing! So tall! "C'mon guys!" I yelled, running towards it. "Let's check it out!"

I stopped a few feet in front of the enormous structure. It was even bigger up close.

"Yeah, we're here now. What's so special about it?" Hiccup asked.

I turned to him. "It's amazing! I'm gonna climb it!" I started my climb up to the top.

"But why?" Flynn sighed.

"Because," I explained, pulling myself up with a piece of ivy. "Its cool. This tower-would make- Jack from- Jack and the-Beanstalk shiver."

It was difficult to speak while climbing, so I stopped talking.

I smiled as I heard Flynn sigh, "We'll wait."

------

I grinned as I pulled myself through the window. "What the?" I said looking around.

There were newer things in here. And it was clean. Almost like someone was liv-

"Woah" I yelled as I was knocked to the floor. Then, it was dark.

______

I woke up in a chair tied up in some kind of rope. Wait, it's not rope. It's hair!?

I wiggled in my chair to get myself free. "Just stop." A familiar voice said.

I sighed, "You guys too?" "Yep." I struggled some more.

"There's no use in struggling." A blonde stepped out, and I realized we were wrapped in her hair.

"Hey." Flynn said with a smirk. Oh great. Flynny boy here will definitely woo her.

Notice my sarcasm, please.

"Don' even think about it, scum." I turned my head to see a red head with frizzy hair pointing a bow and arrow at Flynn.

"Hehe, uh, why are we tied up?" I asked them.

"Wouldn't you like to know." A platinum blonde with icy blue eyes stepped forward.

"Close your mouth, you'll catch flies." She told me, and I quickly shut my mouth

I didn't even realize I had been staring, slack-jawed.

My eyes roamed her body. Dang, she was hot. I snapped back to attention as, Red, flicked me on the head.

"I asked what yer name was. Go 'head an' answer. I don' have all day so you can stare at my sister." She hissed.

I blushed crimson red and managed to choke out, "Jack Frost."

"What are your names?" I asked.

"None of yer-" Red started, but the blonde with the long hair blurted,"Im Rapunzel, and that's Merida and Elsa!"

"Punzie!" They hissed. "Whoops! Sorry." She apologized, guiltily.

"So, Jack Frost?" Elsa snickered. "Like the guardian of Winter?"

"Yes." I nodded. "That's me!"

"Haha, very funny." She stated sarcastically. "Im serious." I smirked.

"You've got to be kiddin' me." Merida grumbled.

"No, he's serious. He's Jack Frost." Hiccup said, sticking up for me.

"Prove it." Elsa smirked.

"If you'd be so kind as to hand me that stick." I said, pointing at my staff across the room.

I watched as Elsa slipped on a pair of gloves and handed me my staff. I chuckled. Geez, am I that repulsive?

I dragged it across the ground, well, as good as anyone can drag a five foot staff while tied to a chair.

I watched their eyes light up as frost formed on their floor.

"You are Jack Frost!" Elsa squealed, but quickly calmed herself. I chuckled, "Yep."

"Just like El-" Rapunzel started, but she quickly shushed when Elsa shot her a look.

"Just like in..the book." Rapunzel laughed nervously.

I nodded. These three were hiding something. Well, that's not of concern. Now, how do I get out of this chair?

"Will you please untie us, now?" Flynn asked, hopefully. "And give us our bag." Hiccup added.

"How about we make a deal?" Rapunzel suggested.

"Or you could just give us the bag." I pushed. I sighed as they shook their heads.

"I hid it somewhere you'll never find it!" She stated, satisfied.

"It's in the vase, isn't it?" Flynn guessed, nodding to the vase.

And then it was black again.

_____

I woke up and my head hurt. Now, Rapunzel was holding a frying pan.

So she knocked us out. That's really nice.

"Now, it's somewhere you'll never find it." She said again. I sighed, "What do you want in exchange for the bag?"

"We want you to take us to see the lights."
