Chapter 4
Merida's POV
I smiled to myself as I touched grass for the first time.
It felt so good under my feet! So soft, and green! So green! I chuckled to myself as Rapunzel reluctantly touched it with her foot as if might bite her.
She smiled and plopped down next to me on the grass and waved her fingers through it.
"Guys c'mon." Hiccup urged. "Its just grass."
"You've never been outside that tower have you?" Jack asked and we nodded. "Welcome to the real world." He said while pulling us up.
"Ugh! They never get my nose right!" Flynn complained, pulling a poster off of a tree.
"No they really didn't get it right." Rapunzel commented. "It's too crooked here." I sighed. Oh, Punzie. Always the artist.
I watched her erase the nose on the poster and draw her own version. "There! Much better!"
"That's not half bad." Flynn commented with a surprised look.
I looked over at Hiccup to find he was staring at me. Wait, what? I do not want any attention from him.
Do I?
•Elsa's POV•
I smiled as I saw Jack staring at me. I wondered if this was like those Fairytales Punzie was always reading.
Like that one, what was it called? Oh! Aladdin! Where the thief fell in love with the princess, Jasmine.
Except I'm not a princess, but Jack is a thief. A nice thief though.
"So," I spoke up. "Flynn Rider, huh?"
He nodded. "Like, Flynnigan Rider? The famous thief?"
He chuckled, "When we were kids, I was obsessed with those stories. Only thing I had."
"Oh, I remember." Jack chuckled.
"You've read them?" Flynn asked me. I nodded, "We've all read them. We read about thievery and his various affairs with women."
"Are you like that?" Rapunzel asked.
"No, not exactly." Flynn gulped. "See, Flynn here, he's a real looker, or so he says." Jack smirked.
"But, he's never actually gone steady with a girl. You know the whole, I love you thing." He chuckled looking at me.
I turned away and out of the corner of my eye I saw his face. He looked like a kicked puppy.
"Have you ever had a girlfriend, Jack?" I asked.
"No." He answered with a sigh. "I've never had the chance to really talk to a girl because I'm on the run with these two goons." He laughed, motioning to Hiccup and Flynn.
"What about you?" He asked.
"Jack! That's a stupid question! They've never left the tower, dumbo!" Hiccup scolded.
Jack smiled sheepishly but I answered anyway. "No, I've never had a boyfriend."
"Yes you did!" Rapunzel jumped.
"Who was it?" Jack leaned in, ready for Punzie to spill the beans. I motioned for her not to, but she pretended not to see me.
"She had a boyfriend named Hans." And the beans are spilt.
"Hans, hm?" He smirked.
"He wasn't her real boyfriend. He was imaginary." She emphasized imaginary.
I glared as everyone started to laugh and Jack's smirk got wider.
"Oh, come on! I was five!" I shouted.
"Ha! At five, this little girl kissed Hiccup on the cheek for no reason!" Flynn stated.
If smoke could come out of my ears it would have. I glared at them and crossed my arms.
"Aw, c'mon Elsa! I didn't mean it." Jack apologized. I just continued my glare.
"I'm sorry! Will you forgive me?" He pouted. I looked at his face for two seconds and immediately looked away.
It was going to kill me. That look was adorable. Wait, what?
I gasped sand tensed up as I felt his arms around me. He was hugging me. The only other person to hug me was Punzie, and sometimes Merida.
Never a boy. Heck, a day ago I wouldn't have even known what a boy looked like if it weren't for pictures in my books.
I slowly relaxed as his arms just stayed around me.
"I'm sowwy?" He said in a baby voice and looked at me from behind. I managed to smile.
"Where are we goin'?" Merida asked.
"It's called, 'The Snuggly Duckling.'"
