CHAPTER TEN
SHE IS NOT YOUR TYPE
TROYS POV
"What's the thing between you and Elizabeth?" Cory dropped the question, I knew he was going to ask sooner or later.
"What are you talking about?"
"She sits at our table, you start talking to her, you take her home, you follow her to her friends house, you care about her. Come on what's the deal between you and her?"
Cory found out. It wouldn't hurt if I told one person the truth, besides he's my best friend and I trust him.
"We started dating last week."
Cory looked at me in shock with a mixture of disappointment. I knew he'd react like this, he didn't say a word.
"She's not that bad."
Cory started laughing "She's not that bad?" He's laughter increased. I'm getting angry and I could punch him in the face anytime right now.
"No, no I get it. You need someone to do your homework, she's smart so you're using her nothing more than that, right?" I stared at Cory, his smile disappeared from his face when he looked at me, he could tell that I was serious. "Right?!" He asked again.
"You're wrong Cory, Liz is different."
Cory scoffed, I was doing my best to control my anger. "Dude she is so not your type." Cory really needs a punch in his face.
"You don't know anything about her, you know nothing." I said in a threatening tone. "You don't need to know someone to know that she's the right one." Cory stated calmly. Was this his idea of advice? He was horrible at giving it. He changed the topic.
"I'm expecting someone later."
I know who that 'someone' is "let me guess, Ally" I stated plainly "mmm hmm" he confirmed. Cory was really a hypocrite, telling me not to date someone not my type and here he was doing the same thing.
"What's the thing between you and her?"
"She's a friend." He looked at me and I looked at him, they weren't friendly stares.
"You like her don't you?" Cory chuckled. "Do you think this is funny?" I asked, anger present in my tone. "Dating her is a hundred times better than you dating Elizabeth, Liz or whatever it is you call her." He stopped smiling
"That girl is irritating."
"Elizabeth is irritating."
"No she's not."
"Yes she is."
"She's not!" I yelled back.
Ally walked in, we both looked at her, fake smiles beaming on our faces.
"Hey." Cory said
"Hey." She replied looking at me. Why was she always looking at me?
"I'm leaving." I grabbed my bag placing one hand on my right shoulder and left Cory's house.
