Tyler's POV

Once I got home from school I went straight to my room.(me tbh) I grabbed my phone and pulled out Josh's number.

'You are so needy'

"Takes one to know one." I mumbled.

To : Josh

Hey!

I waited a few minutes and he texted me back,

From Josh:

Who's this?

To Josh :

Oh right, it's Tyler. The kid you saved from Trevor.

From Josh:

Oh! You're the cute kid I gave my number to.

I blushed after reading it

'Gross'

To Josh:

I wouldn't say I'm cute.

From Josh:

Hmm, then ig this is the wrong kid.

'Damn right, go away'

I blushed even more, knowing what Josh was doing.

To Josh:

Fine, yes it's the cute kid you gave your number to.

From Josh:

I thought so, so what are you doing this afternoon?

To Josh:

Nothing, why?

From Josh:

Why don't we go for a walk?

To Josh:

Don't you think that's a little dangerous?

From Josh:

We aren't walking the wHoLe time.

To Josh:

Fine, what time?

From Josh:

Be ready at 6.

I looked at the clock, 4:35

To Josh:

Ok.

It ws 5:45 and Patrick was sitting on my bed listening to me rant.

"Is this a date?" I asked, for the 4th time.

"Calm down, he might just wanna be your friend." 'Trick said smiling.

'As if, who would want to have you as a friend?'

"'Trick he's back." I stopped pacing and looked at my best friend. He pulled out his ear phones and my ipod then handed it to me, I quickly put them in and the voice vanished.

"Thank you." I smiled and hugged my fluffy best friend. He nodded and hugged me back. A knock echoed through the house, I was still calming down so Patrick got the door.

Josh's POV

I knocked on the door, my hands sweating. An adorable guy in a fedora answered the door.

"Uh, is T-Tyler here?" I asked quietly. He looked me up and down for a bit, I shifted under his gaze. He pushed my back a little and stepped out side closing the door.

"Listen here Josh if you even think to hurt my best friend. I'll become a devil and ruin your life. Understand?" He threatened. I quickly nodded.

"Use your words." He growled.

"Y-yes s-sir." I studdered. He looked me up and down again.

"Tyler will be out in a sec." He stated and walked back inside, I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. I have never been so intimated by someone so adorable.

'That's cuz you're a coward'

'Why must you ruin everything?'

'Why must you live?'

'Why do you hate me?'

'Because you're a worthless piece of shit, a coward, a waste of space, a waste of ti-'

'I'll stop when you make'

"Hey Josh!" Tyler smiled, I smiled back.

"Hey! you ready?" I asked.

"Ready as I'll ever be." He replied, I smiled and we started walking
