Chapter 13

Levi arrived at the park at exactly 2pm. He had his camera with him along with the tripod in case he wanted to use it.

He glanced around the park, adjusting his glasses every once in a while. Slinging his camera over his neck he suddenly saw a figure running toward him. Eren. And he was carrying way too much shit.

"Hey brat! You need help?" Eren let out a grunt in protest and landed up in front of him, setting down his cases. The kid's hair was a mess. "Do you ever fix your hair?" Eren shrugged and shook his head.

Levi watched as Eren sat on the grass and pulled out his laptop. "Why do you have that?" He also pulled out his phone.

I said I would dance for you. So I need music.

"Oh, you were serious about that?" Eren nodded and started scrolling, trying to find the song he wanted.

"What song are you going to dance too?"

Lucifer by Shinee.

"Never heard of it." He started messing with his camera.

Once he found the song he walked over to the basketball court and set the laptop on a bench, turning the volume all the way up.

I do this all the time. Never preformed this one though. I just now perfected it.

Levi nodded. "Well I'll have pictures. Now dance brat."

Eren rolled his eyes and put his phone next to the laptop. Then he clicked play, running back to the center of the court. When the music started he started the dance moves. (A/N: I would totally recommend listening to this song and watching the dance. It's awesome!)

At first Levi was surprised that the singers were Korean. As he started snapping pictures he noticed more and more people started watching. Damn this kid was fearless. If he does this stuff all the time, why does he seem like a shy kid? He noticed that as Eren danced, like when he played music, he was in a different world. Like he didn't even notice the people watching him.

When the song was over Eren smiled and went back over to his laptop. The people around him erupted in applause. He just then acknowledged they were there and his heart rate shot up. Like he told Mrs. Zöe: people scare him and make him nervous.

Levi walked over to Eren. "Not bad brat. Pretty complex stuff there."

Thanks. You get any good shots?

"Yeah, got some great ones actually."

Good. Now ready for instruments?

"Yup, get ready."

Eren walked over to his violin and took it out, standing completely straight. He tuned the instrument and rested it under his chin. He started playing "Radioactive by Imagine Dragons". A song that he knew quite well.

Levi took shots at different angles and even got different lighting in. After the song was over Levi stood up. "Can you play an upbeat song?" Eren nodded and put the violin away and picked up his guitar, tuning it and putting the strap around him.

He started strumming a random upbeat song that he had written himself. A wide smile cracked across his face and he started dancing around as he played, giving Levi some of the best pictures he's ever taken.

When he finished the song he started laughing and stuck his tongue out, walking back over and putting away his guitar and went to grab his laptop and phone, sitting on the grass next to the cases.

Levi sat across from him, looking through the pictures he took. "Wow these are some of the best I've ever taken." He said with slight amazement in his voice. "You want me to email them to you?" Eren nodded.

Do you have a USB on you?

Levi nodded and dug a cord out his camera bag, handing it to him. Eren then plugged it into his computer and held his hand out, pointing to the camera. Levi handed it over and Eren plugged it in, uploading them to his computer.

Way easier.

"Agreed." He looked at him, slightly curious. "How come you seem so fearless? I mean you can dance and play in front of people you don't even know."

Well...it's a different reality to me when I do those things. I'm actually much more shy and nervous around people.

"I don't mean to pry but where were you this morning?"

Eren looked down at his computer, hiding his face.

"Okay, I shouldn't ask. That was too personal." Eren shrugged.

I don't mean to pry but what were you doing last night?

"I was cleaning my room and bathroom for maybe the fifth time this week."

Really? Your parents like really strict about it?

"Actually I do it because I find joy in it. My step-dad doesn't really like my "clean freak" attitude."

You must really not like that guy.

"No, I really don't. But I can't do anything about it, so whatever."

I mean I don't mind my dad but we don't talk much. We just pass each other silently, occasionally acknowledging each other's presence. That's why I have Mikasa.

Eren unplugged the cable and camera, putting them in Levi's camera bag. He did two thumbs up, signaling it was done and good.

I had fun. Thanks.

Levi nodded and stood up, folding his tripod up and putting it in the bag. "Thanks for letting me take the pictures. Maybe I'll invite you over someday and you can see all my other pictures I've taken."

That sounds great. I'd like that.

Eren packed up his laptop and stood up, slinging the bag over his shoulders.

Well, I'll be going. Bye.

He put his phone in his pocket and picked up his cases. Levi noticed how difficult it was for him. "Brat, let me help you. And don't say no because I'll do it anyway." He slung his bag over a shoulder and took the guitar case.

Eren smiled and started walking back to his house. When they made it to his front lawn suddenly a figure came bursting from the house next door. Hanji.

"LEVI!" She ran her way toward the ink haired teen, who did not look amused. "Shitty four-eyes." He muttered. "Oh Levi you have no room to judge. You're wearing your hipster glasses." She laughed and noticed the guitar case. "And who's is this?!" Levi rolled his eyes. "It's Eren's. Who is standing right there."

Hanji turned and saw Eren standing there, looking lost on what to do. "Oh Eren! My mom told me she saw you today." Eren's eyes widened. Her mom said what?!

"What do you mean by that Hanji?" Levi interjected, curiosity taking over. "My mom saw Eren today. She didn't tell me anything personal of course, just mentioned him." She pushed her glasses back up her face. "I thought your mom was a psychologist." Hanji nodded. "She is."

Eren started shaking and darted over, grabbing his guitar and running to his door, unlocking it with nimble fingers and running inside, slamming and locking the door. "I shouldn't have said anything." Hanji rubbed her neck.

"So that's where he was this morning. But why would he need to see your mom?" Hanji shrugged. "I don't know, but she does have all her patient files in her office...and she isn't home. We could go look."

Levi shook his head. "I don't think that's a good idea. Patient confidentiality, remember?"

"I know but we could just see whats wrong with him? No details, just basics." She kept pushing forward, trying to convince him. Levi sighed. "Fine, lets do it."
