Knowledge is often the most dangerous weapon

Happy came to pick them up at nine am exactly. He made the two sit in the back, and five minutes into the journey he had already told Louise to shut up a total of seventeen times.

"Put the radio on!" Louise argued, Peter sighed and buried his face in his hands.

"No!" Happy sighed at her.

"Why not?" She shot back.

"Because I said so." Happy answered.

"That's not a real answer!" She exclaimed.

"That's your answer." The man told her stonily. She rolled her eyes at him.

"Jeez, you're so boring." She sighed, leaning back in her seat with a sigh. "What's this all about anyway?"

"There's something going on and you two are needed." Happy answered.

"Well, at least we won't be training again." Louise shrugged.

"I am not going in that maze again." Peter agreed.

"That was just... crazy!" She nodded, remembering the maze, which had not been her favourite experience.

"Will all of the others be there?" Peter asked.

"No, you know they won't." Happy answered.

"So it's just us?" Louise asked, eyes wide.

"Yeah," Peter nodded, Louise's eyes widened even more. "I guess we're all he has."

"I hope we get to kick some butt." She commented, cracking her knuckles with a smirk.

"Oh we will." Peter grinned back at her.

The two were enthusiastic, although not yet completely experienced enough, they both had skills none of the others possessed.

Happy swerved suddenly. "What the hell was that?" Peter asked at once.

"Nothing, just road spikes." The man answered.

"Road spikes?" Louise asked, suddenly interested.

"We're being tailed." He answered, watching the car behind them through the rear-view mirror with worry.

"Cool!" Louise grinned, and then frowned. "Wait, shouldn't we be worried?" She asked as the cars started to surround them.

"Yeah, I think we should Lou." Peter agreed as Happy swerved violently again.

"That sounds like a good idea." She nodded.

"Speaking of ideas, got any?" Peter asked her, she shook her head.

"No, but I have these if you want one. "She answered, pulling a few knives out of her pocket. "Stark didn't have any throwing knives, so I took these from his kitchen."

"I'm alright thanks." He said, looking slightly concerned. "Why do you have those?"

"In case of emergency." She answered with a shrug.

"What other weapons are you carrying?" He questioned.

"Enough for any occasion." She answered.

Something hit the side of the car, and Louise got the feeling that something bad was about to happen.

"We're gonna roll." She announced.

"What?" Peter looked at her in confusion.

"The car is about to roll, go limp." She told him.

"Why?" he asked.

"It'll hurt less and you'll be less likely to die." She answered.

Another thing hit the side of the car, the impact so great that the car began to tip and roll. It ended up upside down. Louise opened her eyes slowly, her head throbbed where she had hit it against the window, but she seemed relatively unharmed. She sighed, knowing they were all possibly in danger. Managing to undo her seatbelt, she ended up sat on what once was the roof of the car. She sighed again, she had liked that car. Peter was lying next to her, a large bruise on his face, his arm looked possibly broken. Happy seemed to be in a similarly pained position.

She undid Peter's seatbelt and laid him on the roof next to her, before pulling apart one of the seats and making a rough sort of bandage to help set his arm. She then kicked the window out of the door and poked her head out of the window. She needed to go and see if Happy was alright, and that meant getting to the driver's side.

An unknown man was stood watching her with an amused expression. She shot him a glare and ducked back into the car, shaking the others awake.

"We have trouble." She told them.

"What?" Peter grumbled, clutching his head.

"No one listens to my advice, do they. I don't tell you these things for the hell of it you know." She sighed at them.

"What happened to my arm?" Peter asked, examining the strange bandage she had made.

"You're welcome." She answered.

"What's going on?" Happy asked.

"Some weird guy and his armed guards are outside." She answered.

"Oh god." The man sighed.

"Should we fight him, or not?" She asked, hoping for the first option.

"No, no. just find out what he wants." Happy told her, starting to get up.

She crawled out of the car, Peter following behind her.

"I wondered when you two would show your faces." The man stated.

"You know it's rude to have that many guns trained on people you want to talk to." Louise told him defiantly. Peter gave her a warning look.

The man laughed. "My apologies." He waved his hands and the guards put their guns down.

"So who are you exactly?" Louise asked.

"My name is Mike." The man answered.

Peter laughed loudly. "Mike?"

"What's wrong with that?" Mike asked, sounding offended.

"I'm sorry, it was all so dramatic and then... Mike." Peter laughed. Louise giggled.

"He's right." She agreed.

"Can I get on with it what I was saying please?" Mike asked angrily.

"Right, sorry." Peter said with a nod.

"Sure, go for it." Louise added. Happy walked up behind the two teens.

"Mike." He said, as though the two were great enemies. Louise and Peter burst into fits of laughter.

"Seriously! Can you two not shut up for a few minutes?" Mike was not impressed.

Louise coughed awkwardly. "Sorry."

"Now, I want the two of you to come with me." Mike told them. Louise frowned and looked at Peter in confusion. He shrugged.

"Why?" Peter asked after a moment of awkward silence.

"Because I can give you what you really want." Mike announced.

"You got a milkshake? Cause I kinda want one right now." Louise asked.

"Well, I can get you one." Mike answered.

"What about a popcorn machine? Or a bouncy castle? Or a-" Louise was cut off by Peter covering her mouth with his hand. She glared at him.

"What do you want from us?" He asked.

"Information, and your skills." Mike answered.

"We won't go with you." Peter answered, slowly removing his hand from the girl's mouth.

"Oh I wasn't asking you." The guards raised their guns at this

"Can we fight him now?" Louise asked. Happy nodded.

"She smiled and ran into the crowded, planning on taking out the furthest guards first. Sneaking up behind her target, she knocked its gun out of its hands and began to ruthlessly punch it. It went down too easily. Another grabbed her from behind, and had she not stabbed it in the leg, she would have been caught. More guards just kept coming, they couldn't win. As much as she loved to fight, she always knew when was best to retreat.

"Peter!" She yelled, trying to find the boy, but all she could see were guards. Attempting to fight them all would be useless, but she tried to anyway, knowing she would be beaten.

In the end she ran. Managing a good quarter of a mile, before being hit in the back by something. She felt an intense pain, a pain she knew, she had felt it before and it was enough to make her fall to her knees, but not before she cried out angrily. She didn't appreciate being electrocuted. The last thing she saw before falling unconscious was two people walking towards her, one seemed very familiar.
