"Hey Coulson," Skye greeted as she walked into his office.
"Hey."
"I really think Ward needs to be away from the guards," Skye told him. "You saw him yesterday, he lost control. He needs to be focused. It's not because he wants to be alone with me. We cleared his name."
"Okay fine," Coulson replied. He pulled out a folder and flipped through the pages. He'll go here."
He pointed to a picture of a white base, the location, unknown. It looked plain and cold on the outside but on the inside, it was like a nice, warm home.
"Wow," Skye said and looked at the pictures. "You're gonna give Ward this nice place to live in?"
"No," Coulson replied. "I'm doing it for you. You're gonna have to spend some time there training him, and I want you to feel comfortable."
Skye smiled. "Thanks Coulson."

"Okay," Skye said as she walked into the training room the next day. "Grab your stuff. We're moving you to a new place without guards."
Ward grinned. Yes! He grabbed his jacket and followed Skye with guards on both sides of him.

The base had a kitchen that led into a living room with a long couch. The kitchen had a table and chairs along with a counter and high chairs. Then it led down a hallway that had bedrooms and bathrooms coming off of it. On the opposite side of the room there was another hallway that had bedrooms and bathrooms as well. There was a girls hallway, and a boys hallway. Then, downstairs in the basement there was a large, open room that would be their training room. They each got ID cards to sign in and out of the base, and they could track Ward if he ever left.
"This is pretty cool," Ward said as he walked in. He went into a room and opened the drawers. "There's even clothes in here! I don't have to wear the same thing anymore!"
Skye looked around and sighed. It is pretty cool. "Okay Ward. Let's start training."

Skye and Ward continued training together and began to grow close. Ward was loving it, while Skye wasn't sure if it was good or bad.
"Okay, good," Skye told Ward as he lifted the fire ball up.
He wasn't losing control at all.
He lifted it up as it got huge. Then, he squeezed his fist together and it expanded. All of a sudden, the fire ball exploded, sending fire out everywhere. Skye ducked and fell on the floor as Ward realized how much power he had. There was a silence as Ward stared into space and Skye looked up at Ward. He snapped back into reality and reached down to help Skye up.
"Did you see that?!" Ward asked as he grabbed Skye's hands and pulled her up. "I just exploded something!"
Skye chuckled. "Yeah. Let's end on that."
"No," Ward argued. "I think I'm ready for combat. Hey, I've barely ever seen your latest fighting skills. Care to show me what you got?" Ward asked and grinned playfully.
Skye looked at him calmly and folded her arms. She raised an eyebrow. "Not today Ward. I've got to get back to the base and-"
All of a sudden, Ward grabbed Skye by the arm and flipped her over onto one of the mats on the floor. He started chuckling as she groaned.
"Ward I said not today!" Then she kicked him in the leg with her foot and knocked him off his feet, making him fall on the ground. She leaped back up and went to kick him in the arm. Ward grinned and dodged her foot, getting back up on his feet.
He smiled across at Skye. "So you do have some moves."
Skye rolled her eyes. "Of course. I've been training with May."
Ward's grin grew bigger as he went for Skye. Skye dodged him and ran into his shoulder, making him lose his balance. But he regained it quickly. She kicked her leg out to kick Ward but he grabbed it and held it, not letting her go. She bounced off her other foot and wrapped her leg around his neck, strangling him. They fell to the floor as Skye choked him. He grabbed her by the waist and threw her away from him as they both stood up. He shot a fire ball at her as she shot her seismic waves out, blocking it. Then she sent him flying back with her waves, making him fall on his back and skid across the floor. Skye walked over to him and stood over him as he groaned.
"That teaches you not to mess with me," Skye said with a smile. "Next time just follow my orders."
Ward sighed as she reached her hand down to his and helped him up.
"Alright alright I was just trying to have some fun," Ward said.
Skye sighed and checked her phone. "Great. Now I'm late for Coulson's meeting. Thanks a lot Ward!"
"Ooh! You're going to Coulson's meeting! Tell him I want a tv!" Ward told her.
Skye chuckled. "Yeah, like he'd take that request."
She walked up the stairs from the basement and to the door to exit the base.
"Bye," Ward called.
"Bye," Skye sighed and left.
Ward grinned. My plan's working.
