I woke up to somebody knocking on my door over and over and over. "Coming!" I said. 6:30 in the morning. 6:30. Who would come to my house at 6:30?

I opened the door, still in my pajamas and my hair pulled back, to see Henry at the door. "I figured it out!" He said and walked into my apartment. "Just come on in." I said and shut the door.

Henry had already found the goldfish crackers in my cupboard. "Can you not eat me dry?" I said. "If you haven't noticed, I'm broke." Henry just grabbed a handful and sat on my bed.

"How did you even get here?" I asked. "It doesn't matter." Said Henry. "Just sit down. I figured out who you are!" Henry pulled out his story book and flipped through the pages. "In your book?" I asked. Henry nodded. I decided to play along and sat by him.

"Here." Said Henry. He stopped on a page with a picture of 2 kids that looked around my age and a man in what looked like a palace. The girl was fighting with the man with a sword in both of their hands. The boy was picking the lock on the door. "See, the girl is you. Your fighting with Prince Charming because you and Jared robbed the palace." Said Henry.

I will admit, they did look like Jared and I. Henry flipped back a couple pages. This one had the same kids, but this time, the girl was pinned to a wall by a man with a hook for a hand. "Let me guess. That's Captain Hook." I said pointing at the man. "Yeah! You stole from him in the tavern and he caught you. But Jared saved you by hitting Hook with a bottle and knocking him out." Said Henry. "See! You two were the most notorious thieves of the time!"

Suddenly, I heard a knock on my door. I looked through the peephole and saw a very ticked Regina. "It's your mom!" I whispered. Henry slid under my bed. I did not want to explain to the mayor why her child is in my home at 7:00 in the morning.

I opened the door, once again, in my pajamas. "Morning Madame mayor." I said. "Can I help you?" "Well, you can start by wearing something a bit more decent when you open the door." She said. She pushed past me and came right in. Must run in the family.

"I'm guessing you didn't come here to give fashion advice." I said. "Is Henry here? I tracked him down to this apartment building and as far as I know, your the only one he's really familiar with." Said Regina. "Can't say that I have." I said. "Though, I do remember him saying he was going to school early to make you a present."

The mayor's face softened. "That's so sweet of him." She said. "Well, he better tell me next time. Thank you Natalia." And left.

Henry came out of his hiding spot. "Well, looks like you need a ride." I said. "Lucky for you, Graham gave me the day off." Henry smiled. "Thanks Natalia." He said. "Hey, maybe while I eat breakfast you can read more of my story." I said and smiled.

While I threw on some clothes and ate my cereal, Henry read about the famous Turner Twins. It's a pretty good story. These twins were orphans, turned to thievery, traveled around robbing the rich and keeping it for themselves. Kind of like a selfish Robin Hood.

"Then, Hook and his crew sailed the ship holding the twins captive to a magical place called Neverland." Said Henry. "Ooh. Neverland." I said. "Home of Peter Pan and Tinkerbell." "Tinkerbell doesn't even have wings." Said Henry like it was the most obvious thing in the world. I put my hands up in fake surrender. "Sorry." I said.

"The sinister Peter Pan had plans for Natalia and Jared. So he sent his best lost boys to get them from the Jolly Roger." Henry continued. "Sinister?" I asked. "Yeah! Peter Pans the bad guy!" Said Henry. "Of course. I'm sorry." I said. What kind of fairy tale is this?

"The lost boys took the twins to the island. But when they reached the shore, Natalia escaped and ran into the forest." Said Henry as we drove to the sheriff's office. I had to pick up my homework. "Jared had helped her escape. He wanted to put his sisters safety in front of his own. But, Natalia was caught by Pan. When she was brought back to his camp, Pan said that in order for her brother to be returned to her, she must steal from the Evil Queen."

"Who's the Evil Queen?" I asked. "My mom, Regina." Said Henry. I slightly smiled. My opinion on Regina should probably stay in my head. We got to the sheriffs station. "Stay here I'll be back in like 5 minutes." I said.

I walked into the sheriffs office. A women with blonde hair asleep in one of the cells. My homework was on my desk with a note on top from Graham. It said:

Natalia
Can you give the women in the cell a pop tart and water before you grab your things?
Graham

I quickly grabbed a pop tart from the cupboard and got some water in a cup. I carefully put the things on the ground in her cell. Then I grabbed my work and went back to my pickup.

"So Henry." I said. "Where were you last night?" "I found my birth mom. Emma. She's going to break the curse on the town." Said Henry. "Curse?" I asked. "Yeah! In your story, when you went to get the ink from the queen, the curse got to you before you could make it back to Jared."

We pulled up to the school. "Henry, I know you love your stories and that you want them to be real." I said. "But Jared? Jared didn't just run off to Never Neverland. No matter how much I want it to be that easy, it isn't."

"Your just under the curse." Said Henry. "Don't worry. My mom will break the curse and then I'll help you find your brother." Henry took my homework to give to Mary Margaret and hopped out of the pickup.

"Curse huh?" I said to myself. "Well, whatever floats his boat." And drove to Granny's for some coffee.
