I walked into Granny's diner and sat down at the bar. "Hey Natalia!" Said Ruby. "The usual?" I nodded. Ruby smiled and got my coffee. "So, I've got some news." Said Ruby as she came and sat by me. Ruby was one of my best friends.

"What is it?" I asked. "So remember a few days ago when I asked you if you would even consider getting a boyfriend, and you said only if you find the right guy?"
"Uh yeah?"
"Well, a guy came in here this morning and said he was single, so I set you two up on a date!" I nearly spit out my coffee. "Ruby!" I nearly yelled. "You can't just set me up on dates with people I don't know!"

"Cmon Tali." Said Ruby. Tali was her nickname for me. "You've got to put yourself out there. Take a chance!" I sighed. She was right. I'm usually so busy between work and my homeschooling that I never have time for fun.

"Ok, fine. One date." Ruby smiled. "You're going to have so much fun! You can come over in an hour, and I'll help you get ready." Said Ruby. I looked over in a booth to my right. There was a woman with blonde hair. The one from the jail cell.

"Hey Ruby, who's that blonde chick over there? I've never seen her in town before." I said. "Her names Emma. Apparently, she's Henry's birth mother." Said Ruby. "Henry got her to stay in town for a week." I nodded.

Henry walked in. "Hey Natalia." Said Henry before sitting down with Emma. I waved. "Who's she in your little story book." Said Emma, clearly not believing him about it. "She's a thief." Said Henry.

Henry motioned for me to sit down by him.  I awkwardly walked over. "I don't really want to intrude." I said to Henry. "She can sit with us. Right Emma?" Said Henry. Emma shrugged. "Whatever the kid wants." She said, so I sat down.

"Didn't I drop you off at school?" I asked Henry, but he ignored me. "Emma, this is Natalia. Natalia, Emma." Said Henry. I shook Emma's hand. "Nice to meet you." I said. "You too." Said Emma.

"Natalia. We have to ask you something." Said Henry. "Shoot." I said while taking a sip of my coffee. "Remember that curse I told you about this morning?" He asked. "Well, since Emma is the Saviour, we can finally break the curse. You want to help?"

I gave Emma a skeptical look. She shrugged. "Why not?" I said. Henry smiled. "Great! Welcome to Operation Cobra." I giggled at the name. "Well, I got to go. See ya Henry. It's nice to meet you Emma." I said before paying for my coffee and walking out.

I often go for walks around town when I'm bored. I walked down the street past Mr. Gold's shop. I haven't been there in a while, and I love looking at old objects, so I decide to go in.

I walked in the shop and Mr. Gold was behind the counter. "Hello Miss Turner." He said. "Hey Mr. Gold." I said. "I'm just browsing if that's okay."

As I was looking, I saw something that caught my eye. An old knife. There was nothing special about it, it just stood out to me for some reason. "Do you remember where you got this?" I asked. Mr. Gold looked at it. "I'm afraid I don't." He said. Why did this knife stick out to me?

I checked my phone and saw Ruby texted me.

Hey! You left before I could tell you what time your date was! Come over at 7:30 and I'll help you get ready.

It was 6:30 right now. "I better go." I said. "Thanks Mr. Gold." "It's always a pleasure dearie." He said as I walked out.

When I got to Granny's, Ruby had a dress picked out. "Ruby, were just having dinner." I said. "So? You need to dress to impress!" Said Ruby. "You never told me anything about my date yet." I said.

"His name is Eugene." Said Ruby. "He's 18, he works at The Rabbit Hole as a barkeeper." I slipped on the dress and Ruby curled my hair. "Ready?" She asked. "Ready as I'll ever be." I said.

I walked into Granny's and saw a boy, about my age sitting in a booth. He had brown hair and brown eyes. "That's him." Said Ruby. "Have fun!" I walked over and sat in the booth.

"Uh, hi." I said. "Hi, you must be Natalia." He said. "Yeah, you must be Eugene." I said. "Last time I checked." He said with a smile. He kissed my hand, which made me blush. "Your quite the charmer." I said. "A girl as beautiful as you, I'm surprised the guys aren't chasing you." He said. I smiled and looked at my menu.

I happened to look at the clock tower and saw the clock moved? That clock hasn't moved in years! What is going on here?

"Something wrong?" Asked Eugene. I looked back at him. "I gotta go." I said and left the restaurant.
