Meaghan's POV

"hello?"

"hi."

"Meaghan?!" Taylor gasped surprised.

"yes, its me Taylor." i said.

"oh my god! its been forever! how are you doing?" she asked. I looked at Shane, who was sitting in front of the tv watching The Wiggles.

"erm, i've been fine. You?"

"im good thanks! hey, why didn't you come to Liam and I's wedding?" I bite my lip.

"when was that?" i asked.

"just last year."

"i had Shane.."

"oh my god! how is that little guy? Niall said he's seen you at the park-"

"Shane is fine."

"Meaghan, are you ok?"

"i would be. DO you think you can come over to my place?" i asked.

"ya sure!" I told her the address of the apartment and hung up the phone. I sighed. I really cant believe im doing this. But i do need someone right now. The only person i could think of was Taylor. She never has done anything to hurt me. And she never will. I can trust her. Wait? What if Niall comes? Shit! He doesnt need to see this place! He doesnt need to see Shane! i dont want him to meet Shane cause Niall will end up leaving for tour. He will never actually be there physically for Shane. Shane needs a real father who will not leave all the time.

I looked at Shane and smiled as he was dancing to The Wiggles. I do wish Niall wouldve never done what he done. We would still be happy and together, with our child. Raising him together is the idea i loved the most. But not now. I cant trust him. I mean, i want to trust him, but i just cant. Not after what he done to me. Just then, the dinger went off.

"Meaghan? Can we come in?" I went to the microphone and unlocked the door. What does Taylor mean by we? Did she bring Liam? I kinda hope she didn't bring Niall.

"Meaghan?" Taylor asked at the door. I opened it. I smiled once i saw Taylor. She hasnt changed. The only thing that has, is her last name, and she cut her hair shoulder length. It was so long last time i saw her, down to the middle part of her back! It was a bit strange to see her hair shorter. Behind her though, was Niall.

"He really wanted to come." Taylor whispered in my ear. "he wouldnt leave me alone." I sighed and nodded my head, opening the door to let them in.

"sorry about the place." i mumbled. Taylor and Niall made there way inside and gasped.

"what happened Meaghan?!" Taylor gasped.

"this is what happens when your family turns on you when you have to take care of a kid by yourself." i mumbled.

"if you needed money, you couldve asked me!" Niall said, looking around comletly disgusted. He really had to say that? Here comes sassy me.

"i wouldve if you never done what you did!" i yelled. Niall stayed silent and looked to the ground.

"i- i should go." Niall mumbled and left.

"mummy?" Shane asked. I looked over at him. His bottom lip was poking out.

"come here babes." i said croching down to his level and extending my arms. He ran into them and i held him, standing up.

"so this is Shane?" Taylor asked me. I nodded my head and kissed Shane's forehead. "he looks alot like Niall."

"he also has Nialls appitite, wich doesnt help me with the money." i said chuckling slightly. I rubbed and gently patted Shane's back, making him burp in seconds. Shane rested his head on my shoulder and fell asleep.

"hang on, let me go put him in his crib." i said. Taylor nodded her head and i was off into Shane's room. I laid him down on his crib and put his blanket over him. I closed the door and sat beside Taylor on the couch.

"is that what really happened?" Taylor asked me.

"what?"

"about your parents not helping you and leaving you?" I sighed and nodded my head.

"im still looking for a better job. Delivering newspapers on Tuesdays and Thursdays, isnt exactly what i wanted to do for a job. The hardest part is being Shane with me. Sometimes i have a babysitter come look after him. But it is so expensive to hire a babysitter though. Especially with my job i have and how much money i get paid." Taylor nodded her head.

"well Meaghan, if you ever need a babysitter, or anyone to talk too, you can talk to me. Okay? I promise im not going anywhere with out you."

"even though i left you?"

"yes. i get why you did though. It is understandable. i am not mad at you, or upset." I hugged Taylor.

"thank you, so so much. you dont know how much this means to me."
