Chapter 7

Siren's POV

I was floating. At least that's what it seemed like. There was water all around me, but a perfect circle of air surrounding me, preventing me from touching my element. I looked down and was confused, I saw no body or even a wisp of color to portray the existence of my being.

Willing myself towards the water, I managed to move, but as I moved, so did the liquid. It moved away from me. The water waved, quietly content, flowing soundlessly. Internally I frowned, I wanted to feel the coolness.

My wishes were denied. As I grew frustrated, the water swirled angrily. It's hue darkened and it's movement increased. Suddenly, at a distance, an image appeared. I squinted, at least I think I did, and tried to clear the picture that was shone.

A blurry picture of Ariel and Snake arose. Despair ached in my heart as Snake carried Ariel in his arms. This was before the affairs. Slowly the image floated towards me. It didn't move inside the picture, but I had the feeling it would. Cautiously, I reached for it, silently hoping that this time I would be able to touch it.

As soon as contact was made, the picture expanded, taking up the space around me. It came to life, I could smell the scent of Snake, I could hear the sounds of voices, I could feel the unsteady steps of the two. I stepped back, confused to why I was being shown this.

Suddenly, Ariel moved with speed I could barely follow. One second, she was unconscious in Snake's arms, the next, she was standing in front of him with her hands to his temples. She glowed, her eyes flashing gray, power flowing from her hands into Snake's head.

The image changed, it flickered to Snake talking with Edgar. My heart clenched at the image, sadness making its way through my body. I knew what would happen next, but I couldn't bring myself to turn away.

Snake had launched himself at the soldier, kissing him roughly, but something was off. Usually, Snake was gentle, but this ferocity was like an animal. When Snake pulled away, gray streaked through his eyes before disappearing.

I stumbled backwards, shock vibrating through my whole being. I watched it happen two more times. Snake's eyes would glow gray before resuming their natural sky blue. This means that End must've gotten into his head, forcing him to want someone else other than me.

Snake didn't intentionally cheat on me. Relief flooded my veins, he does love me. He does, I felt myself shaking with happiness. The image disappeared, the water returned, but then a figure formed.

Four legs, coming together at the trunk of the body, before branching off into two arms. Blue colored skin, oval shaped head, with the widest eyes. Lightning bolt shaped things coming off the top of the head. It was an Omatel.

"Greetings, Commander." Its telepath reaching my brain.

I simply nodded my head in the best I could. I dared not speak, these creatures come from Wunl, the planet dedicated to the mind. It knew what I wanted to say and what I was thinking.

"What we have shown you is not for the relief of your emotions, it's for the better of the universe." The Omatel stated bluntly.

Ouch, okay then. At least I knew why I was brought here, these beings can literally bring your mind from your body, but only for short periods of time.

"General Snake is effected slightly by End, but otherwise his actions were his. So unfortunately that means that he did break your heart, but he didn't mean to in the beginning. End caused him to start, but he didn't make him finish."

This was supposed to help me? Now he just made it worse, if I could, I would feel my heart breaking again, but I think it just fell down into Tartarus instead.

"End is still inside that General, and you need to get him out. Otherwise a lot worse could happen, and consequently, the Universe would pay for his actions."

I sighed, of course. First they tell me that Snake didn't mean to cheat on me, then they say he did, then the tell me to fix the guy who hurt me in order to save everyone else. At least with Snake's actions, I managed to recreate Twizne.

"About that." the Omatel cut in,"Yes, the planet and all of its inhabitants was restored, but End plans a different approach regarding planets."

Does that mean Twizne is safe? And he said inhabitants, that means the people are back too. I created life, but is order acting on the planet?

"No, none of the planets are safe. End has decided to go after Lord Chaos' children. They live on Earth, while some are corrupted, most are at peace with their father. That is why End is waging war on that planet."

Wait, children? Chaos has children? Why don't they expand to other planets instead of sitting in one spot?

"Farewell, child. Do not let your emotions interfere with your decisions."

Snake's POV

He's been unconscious for three days. Ever since he recreated Twizne from memory. I felt awful, he was pale and unmoving on his side, facing me. I yearned to see his eyes, hopefully he could forgive me, I love him. I really do.

I stayed there for the rest of the day, he still didn't move besides the occasional shift for comfort. Star and the others came in and out, checking up on their Commander. Lord Chaos and Lady Order haven't been by. They've dedicated their time to fix up Twizne to surprise Siren.

The Twi's had their own waterfall of never ending blood. The Zne's lived by their own powered places, Beaves, Pesert, Yamp, etc. Everything was peaceful, and the two existed in harmony, just like Siren wanted.

By day five, Siren had still hadn't woken, and I was starting to get discouraged. The doctors were positive he would be awake by now, still I sat waiting for my love to wake. It wasn't until two days later that Siren stirred.

Siren's vitals went through the roof and his body shook crazily. Suddenly his eyes shot open, they glowed with his vibrant seagreen color and hummed with power, flowing like a heated fire.

His hands shot out and grasped my temples. His fingertips heated and burned with passion as determination settled in his eyes. Sharp pain electrified my brain and his eyes glowed even brighter, a white hue emanating from his body.

I cried out in pain, tears flowing from my eyes. The room lit up, and eventually, the pain died away. The last thing I saw was a gray wisp floating before being burnt up. Siren's voice invaded my ears before I fell from my chair into darkness.

"We have to go back to Earth..."

Tell me what you think...
