Chapter Twelve
Fae's worries were for nothing. Eon came out of the cave without a scratch. He indicated for the other Eeveelutions and Fae to follow him inside the cave. Mauve, Fergus, and Neri followed the Umbreon inside, getting swallowed by the black dark abyss ahead.
Fae flinched. She wasn't sure if she could go in such a scary dark place. The world for her hasn't been this scary before. It was all a new experience for her. She gulped. Was she ready for this? Only one way to find out.
The shiny Eevee took a step forward, forcing herself to walk despite her legs not wanting her to move. She had to move. There was danger everywhere! She could hear a Hoothoot in the distance. At least she that's what Pokémon she thought she could hear. It could've been a bad Pokémon. Either way, she didn't want to find out who or what it was behind the screech.
She raced into the cave, still unsure about it. What if there was a dangerous Pokémon still inside of it? Or what if this is a trap?
She gasped as she walked in. The cave they stopped by for the night had been modernized. It didn't seem like a cave, and more like a house. Whoever had been in this cave, however, must've abandoned it. There were papers scattered everywhere, and it seemed like there were blueprints everywhere.
Fae's eyes widened. Was this some sort of scientific laboratory? She wondered in curious it's. Eon was curious about it as well. He approached her. "I believe this is Kiumbe's abandoned laboratory. He's a Mewtwo who was a part of this team. I don't know where he is. He's either dead or alive. Alive most likely. We don't have much choice, however. There's someone out in that forest I'd rather not see again." Eon informed her.
Someone he didn't want to see again? Who doesn't he want to see again? Didn't he say something similar to this earlier? Fae wondered before realizing she wasn't caught up on something. "Who's Kiumbe?" She asked her brother. She had missed a lot of her brother's life, but now that she was in it she might as well catch up to his life before she came into it—or more likely when he forced himself into hers.
Eon laughed. "Oh him. He's not really important. Just a Mewtwo who you shouldn't be worried about." He remarked. He was taking the Mewtwo with a grain of salt. "Anyways, he's been taken care of pretty well. Paarthurnax told me they haven't seen him in months. It's as if he disappeared, but you know good riddance. He was just a bad guy."
Just a bad guy. Right. Fae looked through all the thrown pieces of paper. What kind of blueprints would an evil villain need anyways? There was a ton of what seemed like pointless blueprints in them. Most of them were either useless or were impossible. However, there were two that interested Fae.
One was a Legendary Mind Controller blueprint. It felt like blueprints a mad scientist would create. "Eon?" She questioned, feelings of fear and surprise rise up within her. The other one was something odd. It was interesting. Why were there eggs in the blueprint? What use could those have in any sort of evil agenda?
Why would someone leave prints like this behind? Should we destroy them? Fae wondered as Eon looked at the blueprints. He pointed at some words of interest. Fae peeked. The egg blueprint had some writing within them. 'Already in motion. However, lost a few of them to a super powerful song-driven Pikachu with a spiked ear.'
Spiked ear? What? Fae was so confused by all this. "What's all this supposed to mean?" She wondered as she felt a soft paw on her shoulder. She spun around to see Neri shaking her head.
"It doesn't matter anymore."
Huh? What didn't matter? Why were they pushing this Mewtwo's importance away? Was this Mewtwo important? Or were they just a part of something bigger? What could possibly be a bigger villain than a Mewtwo! They're one of the most powerful Pokémon aside from Arceus. It would make sense if one of them decided to up and fight Arceus or take total control of them.
All this was jibberish to Fae. To her it was just shoved in her face. Then it dawned in her they were inside an evil villain's lair. What if they come back? Disappearance doesn't mean death just yet. Fae shivered. We're they going to make this a thing? Sleeping in other 'mom's dens? She had no idea, but this adventure was starting to unsettle her a bit.
Fae was pulled closer to her sister who was hugging her. "No one's been here in a long time. Who knows where he is now."

A growl came from the throat of a Darkrai as he watched his prey. They were inside his associate's den. They were staying there for the night. He could hear them well. He hated this Umbreon. He had foiled his plans one too many times.
It's about time he feels the pain and agony I've felt when he tore my eyes out with his Shadow Claw, sending me down the building of destiny! He will pay for blinding me! I'm just glad I have forces he won't expect on my side.
The blind Darkrai felt the presence of his Mewtwo sidekick. "Skliros," the Mewtwo addressed him. Skliros held out a ragged paw. "Not now. We will give them a false sense of security. We need those blueprints."
"Of course, sir. But do we really need the Starter Squad reject and the sword? I remember the reject abandoned us when we failed." Kiumbe remarked with anger.
Skliros did feel anger when he learned of the skilled dark ninja's speedy movements. She ran away as soon as she saw they wouldn't win. It wasn't a big deal to Skliros now. She pledged her undying hatred towards the Squad and promised to be a part of their future exploits. She also promised to train harder to beat them. She begged and pleaded. Skliros liked that.
She, however, was no Lassie. Skliros clenched his raggedy paws in anger. How dare they kill his friend in such a way! I promise you, Tudi, your betrayal won't go unnoticed. I will get vengeance for her! I'll kill both Tudi and Eon! This world could use a little less resistance if you ask me. The Darkrai thought as he listened in.
They had found the blueprints he needed. Their conversation continued until they decided they needed sleep. Skliros growled. "So with these blueprints, can you really make robotic Pokémon?" He asked again.
If all went well, Skliros would be able to have himself an army of unbeatable strange-colored robotic Pokémon. He wanted to destroy the Squad. In order to do that, he would need an army. Possibly with this army I can take over the world. I just need to rid myself of Eon and possibly his sister, although the most I've heard from following around is that she has some sort of strong power. Either way, I don't want to deal with her. I need to get rid of them once and for all. My plan to destroy Garentina must continue.
"Yes. With those blueprints we can make robotic eggs. And then control them with the other one. They're considered legendary enough since they had special powers. Though it looks like Kiumbe wasn't the only one able to make powerful Pokémon.
Skliros was actually surprised at the fact that his opponent was a super soldier. "So what do we do regarding that Human and Luxray who are after them? We want to get revenge on Eon, but how can we do that when this Luxray and his human are trying to find them?" A feminine voice asked. It was the sword who was a part of his plan. He was insane for it, but he did believe it could work.
"It's easy." He responded as he fumbled around. Where the hell was his tea? He felt it suddenly get put in his paw. "Thanks." He took a sip. "You're welcome, but how is it easy?" Rau asked him.
He chuckled as he reached out, finding who he assumed was Rau and pat her back. "Such innocence. Don't you see? We both have a common enemy in Eon. I'm sure this Luxray would be glad to join in on our plans. However, this human is a problem. We'll get rid of him then."
"That's a brilliant idea, Skliros! Do you think we could get him to join our mission of destroying the Squad?" The sword asked. "No, Jabetu. That's our mission, and ours alone. We only need him to help us in our mission. The only problem I can see so far with this plan is the Luxray might say no. Fortunately, I think I know how to convince our new ally, and these blueprints are the key to his obedience."
Skliros then burst into a satanic laugh. "I'll convince him one way or another."

Author's Note: So there's more to this story than it seems. XD. If you made it this far then thank you! I always originally planned for Skliros to be a major part of this story, and now I finally get to introduce him again. If you don't know who he is all I can say is read Blazing Fury and you'll get what happened up to this point of the storyline.
That's right. This actually takes place right after the events of Blazing Fury, but takes place before my crossover: Stronger Monsters. Oh and I do believe this takes place during my Henry Danger/Pokémon Crossover.
Thanks for reading! 👍❤️
