Chapter Eight
Seirra decided to see what Dyn was talking about. Going into the main hall, she found her way to the great hall, the great hall was filled with tables and chairs, noisy guests fighting over the last morsel of chicken.
Stargazer stopped Seirra at the door.
"Where were you?! I had to start the feast without you." She snorted.
"Outside. With Dyn." Seirra answered simply.
"But Dyn is dead!"
"We need to get this meeting started."
Seirra, done with Stargazer for the moment, burst through the doors.
"Silence!" She yelled.
Instantly, all the lords (and a few ladies) shut up. Sitting down in their seats.
"This meeting is now more important than you know." Seirra declared.
A snarky lord muttered something like 'Oh, so it wasn't before?' Before his wife shut him up. They all looked to the young queen in wondering.
"Asadior is back. You all know that. But something of an even bigger evil is arising."
Shocked murmurs traveled throughout the room.
"When beings here die, they don't just disappear forever. They either turn to shadow, or light. There is a ruler of the shadows, obviously. If anyone knows about this, tell me. NOW." Seirra demanded, her fist slamming into the table roughly.
Then, two shapes opened the large doors with a strong force. One of shadow, with a redhead on her back.
"Everthing you say Queen Seirra, is all to true." The shadow spoke.

Twilight didn't stop, she walked all through out the night. Shadows didn't need sleep, that was the plus side of being one. The shadows didn't need food either.
The thought of being in the shackles of Liveos, quickened her pace. Kathreen was alsleep, the rhythm of Twi's footsteps lulling her.
The tunnel would lead to the edge of Kascia, the castle of good. Where Twi knew the queen was. She had to tell them about Liveos, and Asadior. And definitely the shadow army. Everything.
She didn't care if they put her in the prison. Everything didn't seem as terrible as long as she could save Kascia. And she would do just that.
A glimmer of light was coming closer and closer. And Twiligt's hope continued to grow. They would reach it!
The tunnel ended in the outer courtyard, farther away from the giant castle. Twi kept striving forward, determined to reach the castle.
Getting in unnoticed, she realised that there must be a meeting of the four boarders going on.
So they already know about Asadior.
As they neared the great hall, Kathreen yawned. But Twilight didn't hear that. The Queen was adressing the council. She was telling them about shadow and light. And something about Liveos.
Twilight burst through the doors uninvited.
"All of what you just said Queen Seirra is true."
Kathreen stumbled off of Twi. Her eyes shot open.
Good! She can see again.
Guards grabbed Twilight and the redhead. Their grip was strong, and iron grip.
"Let Kathreen go." Seirra pointed to the curly haired girl. "But what shall we do with you?" Seirra's finger turned amusingly towards the shadow.
"Let me speak."
"Well. What are you waiting for?"
"Nothing." Twilight took a deep breather. "The king of the shadows is named Liveos. He has a power far beyond what I even know. He's looking for you Seirra. A pack of kingswolves are after us. Meaning Kathreen and I."
Seirra nodded her head, giving Twi permission to go on.
"Liveos is planning to strike once he knows where you are Seirra, and he will not stop until you are dead."
"Why should I trust you, Shadow?"
Kathreen opened up her mouth to speak, but Twi stopped her.
"It's about time you know. It's me, Dawn."

Asadior woke up to dampness, the wolf still slept soundly. Getting up he stretched, they must get a move on. Sensing the movement, the kingswolf stirred. Its blue eyes opened in a flash as he stood up.
Asadior had already started to move on, his bones aching of the cold. Continuing to stretch as they moved along. The wolf almost seemed frightened of the dark, for he always had his tail tucked and was very alert.
This kingswolf was none of the ordinary. Normal kingswolves would always be confident, strong willed, and you would not want to recon with them. They would kill without a thought at their master's order.
But this one first off wasn't fully black. And its eyes were the wrong color. And its actions were all mixed up. It wasn't a purebred. And it was Twilight's wolf, picture perfect for her.
Asadior sighed.
Hopefully this weird wolf doesn't remember who it was given to.
Kingswolves were given to their owner when they came from the living world, into the shadow world. They always obeyed their master, and would never threaten them.
Asadior wished his kingswolf wasn't dead. He got one because he was the Lord Liveos' right hand man. Nobody could be trusted for sure, but he was secondly in charge. That's why he got a kingswolf.
Asadior was too tired and sore to run. He knew that Twilight was probably already at the tunnel. She could carry on easily. She was the best soldier that they had, and it hurt to loose her.
Asadior thought that they were friends, that every time he talked to her they smiled, and laughed. But now he understood how to read people, and he knew those eyes held many secrets. To many to count.
Secrets about her past. Secrets about her death. Secrets about every inch and part of her, to many secrets to count. Mentally she had built up a wall to keep Liveos out. And his master hated that she had the ability to do that. He took joy in knowing other peoples emotions.
And controlling them.
Liveos was good at that. Keeping his threats at bay. In and out of the night kingdom, in most of Kascia. Because he told his plans to Asadior. Nobody knew of the greater power.
It was like playing a confusing game, and all evil enjoyed it. Because for one the light was in the dark. But that would change soon. As soon as Twilight reached the castle. And Asadior had failed.

Silence fell over the entire court. Everyone knew who Dawn was. The brave soul that first fought against Asadior in the first revolt. Second in command and combat under Kuma. The bravest leader that had taken her own life.
Who was also a former assassin.
Which was the reason she was neutral.
In both life, and death.
"Interesting." Seirra broke the awkward silence.
Turning to the redhead, she looked in amazement.
"So Stargazer was right. You were here."
"Who's Stargazer?"
"Well. You're about to find out."
The blue horse walked up behind Kathreen. Her teal mane swishing with every step. It was finely braided for the meeting, and she looked truly beautiful. Not that she didn't before of course!
"Hello." Her British like accent rang in the still silent hall.
Kaden slid off of the animal's back.
"Kathreen? Is that really you?!"
How voice was surprised along with joy! A grin spread from ear to ear. His eyes brightening.
"No dish dryer. It's a ghost."
Kathreen shared some of the same sarcasm as Kaden. They may have not got along at first, but now they were like siblings. Their hug was warm and friendly, along with the list breathing of Kaden for a.few moments.
"So, about the kingswolves?" Twi, or Dawn said bluntly.
"Oh yeah!" Seirra said smacking her head.
"Guards! Set up your defences!" Stargazer ordered as the command was carried out.
Lords and ladys were in a panic. Sweeping children off of their feet. Carrying them away as if the danger was to be soon. I rich in some case it was.

Asadior got on the back of the wolf and started to ride. Through the seemingly everlasting darkness, he rode, and rode, until a fair light reached his eyes. He was weary, so he stopped the Kingswolf, and dismounted..starting to lie on the hard ground again.
His bones would dread this, but he had no choice. If he was going to fight, he must be well rested. So with the kingswolf lying down, the endless tunnel seemed to be shorter.
Libbi sat on a bed, facing our towards unfamiliar territory. Her back was turned to him.
"So, so far away...."
And then she was gone.
