Chapter 5

Frisk's POV

I stormed off to the room Toriel had sweetly given me to sleep in. I sighed and tried to close the door, being pissed off at G, but it refused. I turned to look at it to notice four skeletal fingers gripping it.

"Nice try gettin' away,Doll, but I'm not takin' any of your BS."

I sighed and let him in, crossing my arms."Well neither am I, bonehead."
He chuckled as I turned away, leaning down to my level and resting his skull on my shoulder. "Aww, is that my nickname now? I guess it's only fair since I have several for you." I rolled my eyes and sighed, wanting to backhand him but I knew he'd hit back.

"What do you want, G?" I asked, clearly annoyed. He chuckled again, wrapping his arms around my torso and staring at me. I blushed and tried to cover my face with my hands, but he gripped them and smiled.

"Am I being a menace, Doll?" He asked, amused as hell. I groaned in annoyance and tried to remove my hands from his, but he was stronger.

"Just get out, bonehead!" I yelled. Again, he chuckled.

"Sorry but if you haven't noticed, there are two beds in here," he said, pointing to the beds on the other side of the room. I looked up at him angrily. I wanted to punch his stupid smirk right off his face, but once again, there's no need to start a fist fight right now.

He let me go and plopped on the larger of the beds. I stared angrily at him, my hands on my hips. "You-," I couldn't come up with an insult good enough for this idiot, so I just groaned and plopped onto the other bed, turning away from him.

I heard him stand, walk over, and I felt the bed press down as he sat. His fingers played with a lock of my auburn hair. "Ya' makin' room for me to squeeze in? Aww, how thoughtful!" I turned and smacked his hand, which he retracted and chuckled. "You're easy to piss off, huh?" I rolled my eyes and turned my head away from him. He sighed and stood up.

He was doing something behind me and honestly, I was afraid of what. I didn't turn around for fear of being judged or seeing something I didn't ever need to see. I finally turned when the shuffling was done and I heard him sit down. My face flushed red.

G was now shirtless, his ribs exposed. He was focused on removing his boots and luckily, it seemed that he wasn't intending on removing his pants. I hid under the covers which was a mistake. I heard him chuckle as he stood up and sat beside me again. "Somethin' wrong, Doll?"

I shook my head under the comforter. He chuckled again. "Then show me nothin's wrong."

I swore under my breath and took a deep breath. I slowly removed the comforter and looked at G. He was smiling, not smirking, SMILING. His yellow eye glowed in the dark and his exposed ribs made me lose my breath. What was this feeling? The feeling like this was right yet wrong? Like I'd know.

His hand moved down and stroked my hair. He chuckled softly, unlike anything he had done before. It was thoughtful and distant. I kinda liked it. Then, the door opened. Toriel peeked in and smiled. G looked from her to me before smiling again at me and walking over to Toriel and leaving. Toriel smiled at me sweetly. "We'll only be a moment, dear." I smiled and nodded as she closed the door.

I jumped out of the bed and decided I should get into better sleeping clothes as well. I looked into the dresser and noticed an extra large black shirt. Sadly, I didn't find any comfortable pants that'd fit me. I sighed. I guess the shirt would have to do. I slipped off my other clothes and folded them neatly on top of the dresser like G had done. Not removing my undergarments, I put on the shirt and looked in the mirror. I felt relieved as I saw it went down past my waist.

The door opened and I watched in the mirror as the shirtless G walked in. When he saw me, his sockets widened and his face blushed yellow. I smiled at him through the mirror. That bonehead. He shook it off and walked over to his side of the room. I sat down and watched as he pulled out an extra blanket. He walked over and handed it to me. When I took it, I noticed something strange.

He was missing a finger on his right hand.

I watched as he pulled out another blanket and threw it onto his bed. He turned and caught me staring. "What?" He asked. I shook out of my daze and looked up at him.

"Sorry, I just couldn't help but notice your um....hand."

He looked down at his left hand shrugging when he saw nothing out of the ordinary. I rolled my eyes. "The other one, bonehead."

He looked down at his right hand, sighing. "Do ya' really wanna know?" He asked. I thought about it and nodded slowly. He huffed and walked over to me, sitting beside me on my bed. He lit a cigarette and, put it in his mouth. He turned, offering me one, which I refused. He let out a puff of smoke and turned to face me.

"Ya' see," he started. "I was fighting this guy, right? He had a little too much to drink and was wasted. We started fightin' over this hot monster girl and he was stuck on havin' her. He pulled out a knife and attacked. I dodged a few of the swings but." He paused, lifting his hand for us both to see. His pinky was completely gone, no remnants of a finger even being there ever.

"I got hit once and that one time made me lose my dang finger. Nearly died but I didn't. Otherwise, ya' wouldn't be sittin' with this handsome devil."

I punched him playfully in the shoulder and sighed. "Okay, so, what I've learned from your story is to steer away from monster drinks and be careful around monster men."

He laughed a genuine laugh and nodded. "Yeah, exactly!" I jokingly scooted away from him. He shook his head and stood up, walking to his bed. I giggled and laid down.

"Night, Dolly," he said, laying his head on his pillow.

I smiled. "Night, bonehead."
