Chapter 7

*Frisk's POV*

I didn't want to deal with that bonehead. I could take care of myself! I'm not a kid and I didn't need someone hovering over me 24/7.

How bad could the other parts of the world be? If even one monster like Toriel could exist, then surely there were more.

I ran out the purple door, slamming it behind me and running. I stopped for a split second to take in the scenery.

It was a dimly lit forest with trees towering over the forest ground. Glistening streams flowed through the path as well as the flowers littering the sides of it. It looked like some sort of fantasy.

It was gorgeous. All the more mysterious and enticing.

I broke from my gaze and continued running. I could feel gazes from other creatures as I ran, but I wasn't going to stop. I couldn't. I felt like the only danger was G who would find me if I stopped. I just didn't trust him. He just seemed so bipolar towards me. First, he hates me, then he's wrapping me with his cloak.

I ran past this weird stand thing with a sign saying 'Don't move'. No one was there so I didn't stop.

But I should've.

A dog monster appeared beside me, throwing my body into a nearby tree. He pinned me there as I struggled. I whimpered as he sniffed my body. It was so weird honestly. My plan had failed.

"Hey, mutt!" A familiar voice called out. We both turned to see the face of an angry skeleton. I huffed in annoyance. Well, he found me!

"Mind lettin' the little lady go?" The dog scoffed.

"What do you know, boy! You're just a kid in a hood."

G clenched his fists as his eye flamed yellow. My eyes widened as a dragon like skeleton thing appeared behind him.

"Let. Her. Go. Now."

The dog laughed, harder than he should have. In one swift move of G's hand, the dog was blasted by the dragon across the stream. I fell and caught my breath, afraid I'd be in trouble. The dragon thing disappeared as G turned towards me, but his eye didn't.

He walked over, a pissed expression on his face as he lifted me up. Not even sparing a glance more at me, he pushed me alongside him as he speedwalked further in the forest.

"You are such an idiot," he mumbled so I could hear. I looked up at him angrily.

"And you are untrustworthy! There, we're even!" He stopped and turned toward me, gripping my collar angrily.

"DO YOU WANT TO GO BACK ON THAT TREE? CUZ' I CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN!"

"FINE! ANYTHING IS BETTER THAN BEING ALONGSIDE YOU!"

He squinted his sockets in anger as he let me go. I thought he was done, but instead I was pushed up against the nearest tree by a yellow aura I knew was G's.

He gave me peace signs as he walked off without another thought. "See ya'."

I struggled against the magic, but it seemed I couldn't be free of it without his consent. I sighed and yelled out in defeat.

"Fine! You win! I shouldn't have run off and I'm sorry!"

He stopped in his tracks, not turning towards me. With a single movement of his hand, I was dropped and the aura disappeared. I fell on my butt yet soon got up and ran after him. He stood there waiting for me to catch up impatiently. When I was at his side again, he didn't turn to me, he just continued.

"C'mon, town's not that far away," he mumbled as he walked off. I sighed and followed behind him.

We were silent for most of the walk. I awkwardly walked beside him, hoping that he would say something so I didn't have to. It seemed he was thinking the same thing though.

Crap.

I sighed. "So, where are we going?"

He huffed out a puff of smoke, his new cigarette in hand. "We're goin' to Snowdin, my home."

I looked around the scenery again, utterly mesmerized by the atmosphere. He looked down at me, chuckling. "Ya' like it here?"

I looked over to see him staring. I blushed and turned away. "Y-yeah, it's so beautiful!"

He turned back to face the road, chuckling quietly.

"Yeah...It is."
