Chapter VII
"NORTH!" At the sound of someone calling my name, I turned and saw South running up to us, "Thank god I found you! Don't go running off like that! You could get lost and it's still raining! I thought you hate the rain!" South scolded me.
My eyes widened as I realized that I was drenched to the bone, and started to have a panic attack. Delaware, seeing the panic on my face, instantly started to try and calm me down, "North. North, look at me, the rain can't hurt you, it won't make you drown. You're going to be fine, once we get back to Arthur's house you can change clothes and dry off," He said, while taking the umbrella from South and holding it over me.
I mutely nodded to show I understood, not like his words would help much, though. I watched South as he called Arthur, asking him to pick us up, and telling him where we are. South turned and smiled at me, "Arthur's going come get us soon, then you can dry off."
I nodded, shivering from the cold rain. "Hopefully none of us get sick because of this," Delaware said, rubbing my arms to try and warm me up.
Soon, a car pulled up, and Arthur stepped out, asking if we were ok. I'd feel touched at his concern, but I think he's just checking so Alfred can't say that he can't take care of us. Selfish tea drinking bastard. Any way, all of us piled into his car, and we drove back to his house. When we got there, all three of us got some hot drinks, Del got tea, but South and I demanded hot chocolate. (A/N: God damn love hot chocolate.) For the next two days, I ended up bedridden, sick. I KNEW THE RAIN WAS OUT TO FUCKING GET ME!!! During that time, South and Del talked with me, we even managed to play some board games, too. After I recovered from the rain's attack on my health, the rest of the days at Arthur's house were spent trying not to die by the terrible food, pulling pranks on Arthur with both South's and Del's help, and talking with Arthur, though only South and Del did that, I decided from day one that I don't like Arthur, and he hasn't done anything to change my mind, so I didn't talk to him at all during the week. Now, I'd dare say that Del is actually my friend, or brother, whatever. We're going back to the states tomorrow morning, and I can't wait. Finally, no more non-stop (THE MAN IS NON-STOP) rainy weather. Well, I guess Arthur really can kind of take care of teens. I'm not saying he's the best at it, but he's not the worst.
I just can't wait to go home.
