The days went by and I spent most of my time at the hospital with Dom. I was laying in bed when I got an email from the roommates in Spain, things didn't work out with the other person so they had an extra room if I still wanted it.

I was so glad because I still hadn't been able to find a place to stay. I replied told them yes and when I would be there. I only had a week left and I still hadn't packed or anything there was a knock on my door "Come in."

William walks in "Do you want to go get some lunch with us?" "Yeah sounds good." I say to him he closes the door I get up and fix my hair a little grab my bag and meet them in the kitchen.

"You ready?" Julian asks and I nod to him. We ended up at Izzy's it is an Italian restaurant we ordered some pizza and pasta. I was sitting next to Alexa looking at my phone "What do you got going on?" "I actually got some really good news and I was replying to some emails."

"Care to share your news?" I didn't know if they had told William about Spain but there was a part of me that didn't want him to know either. I hadn't  really talked to him the past few days either.

I was just confused still about what to do should I be his friend? I really just didn't know but I needed to figure it out because I would be leaving soon. "I think I will let you know when it's a for sure thing."

"Okay." She says as she squeezes my hand "I think we should get everyone together and go out tonight." Will says "I think that is an excellent idea besides Alessa could use a night out." Alexa says and I look at her "What? You need this more then any of us right now."

"Fine." I say "Great then it settled let everyone else know." Will says, I was glad when the food finally came we all sat there talking and laughing just like old times. The way it used to be I was sitting across from Will I looked up at him and smiled and he smiled back that toothy smile that made me weak at the knees.

They talked about a music video he was going to be shooting soon they would be holding auditions for girls soon for it. It was interesting to hear about the whole process "You two should come when we start shooting." Will says "That sounds like fun, but I don't think Alessa."

I hit her leg under the table and she looks at me and I shake my head at her for her not to say anything. "Anyways that would be really cool to see." I looked over at Will he was just looking at me. He wanted to know what I didn't want to tell him but I looked away from him.

We finished our food and left I asked them to drop me off at the hospital. I went to Dom's room he was asleep and Clarissa and my mom were talking. "How is he doing?" "He started to run a fever." "What why didn't you call me?"

"I didn't want you to worry." "What has the doctor said?" He hasn't been here yet." "Have they checked him for and infections yet?" My mom shakes her head I was pissed now as I walked down the hall to the nurses station. "My brother has been running a fever why has no one checked for infections?"

"We hadn't been informed that he had a fever, the nurses from last night shift didn't have anything written down." "You have to be fucking kidding me, so no one has been in there all morning to see how he is doing or anything?" "Yes we have been in there but he has been asleep." "Well he needs to be looked at now!" I half yell.

I walk back to Dom's room and started to look him over he had a little swelling and redness around his stitches. The nurses came in "Check for internal infections as well."

We got out the room as we let them do their thing a little while later the doctor showed up and went in. He came out "He does have and infection we will be leaving the laceration we made for the surgery open we will have to clean it out everyday. "

"Thank you doctor Mark's." "You will make a great doctor Alessa." I nod to him and he leaves, Clarissa hugs me "He is right you know. The way you have been taking care of Dom you are going to be a great Doctor."

"How are you doing with all of this?" "Well it's been tough to see him in here but he is here and I am just happy to be with him. It was hard when he was gone because I missed him so much and we all needed him."

"How is everything with you?" "It's better I finally heard back from the roommates in Spain and they have a room and asked if I wanted it. So it looks like I am going to Spain after all."

"No freaking way oh my gosh Alessa that is amazing and I am so happy for you." "We are both really happy for you Alessa you have worked hard for this, I told you it would work out sweet girl." My mom hugs me "You should go out and celebrate you need to get out."

"Actually they decided to go out tonight so I am going to go with them. " "Good because you need to relax a little." I laugh and shake my head I spent most of the day looking after Dom and it was getting late I needed to go get ready.

I took a cab home I hurried inside and took a quick shower and got dressed. I dried my hair and curled it then did my make up. We left and went to the club everyone was there already. "Oh my gosh it's good to see you stranger." Kevin says to me as he hugs me.

We buy some shots and drinks and Chelsea asks me to go dance with her so I do. "So you and Will are yall back together?" "No." "So yall are friends?, Fuck buddies?" I laugh "I honestly don't know we talk and hang out with Alexa and Julian that's it."

She doesn't say anything else and we just dance to a few songs before we go back and take some more shots. It felt good to be out with all my friends and just having a good time with them all."You know Will has been watching you like a hawk since we got here." Chelsea says. I look over and seen Will looking at us.

Conor and Alex both show up a little while later. "Hello beautiful it's been a while since I seen you." Conor says as I give him and Alex a hug. "I've been busy." "Well since you aren't so busy tonight let's go dance." "Okay."

He grabs my hand and we go dance he made me laugh and I liked talking to Conor. I looked over to see if Will was watching and he was. "If I was Will I wouldn't have let you go." He says to me and kisses me on the cheek and we go back over to the table.

" You know he has been watching you all night." Alexa says to me "You're the second person to tell me that." "He cares about you." "I know he does." I look over at Will who was already looking at the two of us. I don't say anything "I'm gonna go to the bar." "Do you want me to go with you?"

I shake my head as I walk to the bar and order a drink. The bartender was walking back with my drink "Put her drink on my tab." I turned to see who it was and it was Josh, I hadn't talk to him since the night I left him at his place.

He smiles at me "It's good to see you Alessa." I smile back at him "It's good to see you too, I'm sorry about you know." "It's okay really don't even worry about it. So I hear you got accepted for Spain?"

"Yes I did I will be leaving soon and I am very excited." "I got wait listed but I'm really happy for you that is a great opportunity." I nod to him "So do you want to go dance?" "That is a great idea."

We go to the dance floor he pulls me close to him as we start dancing together. He made me laugh and he was easy to talk to and I was having a good time dancing with him. After a little while I looked over to see if Will was watching but he wasn't there.

"Can I cut in mate?" I look over to see William standing there he was sizing Josh up "Sure." Josh says to him "I will catch you later or something?" "Yes and thank you for the drink. " He smiles and kisses my cheek before he takes off.

William just watches as he leaves and gets lost in the crowd. "I was wondering if I was going to have to come to your rescue." "I didn't need rescuing Will what was that about?" "Who was that?" "Does it really matter who it was? I was just dancing with him."

"Do you like him?" I didn't understand what was happening right now, why he was acting this way. "I'm just gonna go back to the table." I was going to walk away but he grabs my hand "Dance with me please?"

I nod to him as we start dancing together he pulls me close to him and rests his forehead on mine. I didn't understand but I stayed there "I miss you." He says to me but I don't say anything back.

"I'm sorry I let you go when I saw you dancing with that guy I didn't like it. I just wanted him to get away from you." I wanted to wrap my arms around him and kiss him but there was something holding me back. Something about all of this that didn't feel right.

"Why are you doing this now Will?" He looks me in the eyes but he doesn't say anything. I tried to step away from him but he held me closer. "Please don't leave." "Will I don't understand what's going on, it's confusing." 

Even though he was saying what I have been wanting to hear for so long it didn't seem right. "Well what is going on here?" I turn to see Melissa and the reason all of this didn't seem right. 

I pulled my hands from his and stepped away from him "We were just dancing." I say to her "Were you?" I look at her and then at Will who wasn't saying anything. He hadn't said anything and it kind of pissed me off. "I'm gonna go."

I was going to walk past her but she grabs my arm I pull it from her "I'm his girlfriend your time is over be good to remember that." I laugh "Don't ever grab me like that again, and he is all yours." I laugh and shake my head as I walk off.

"What was that all about?" Alessa says "Nothing at all." It was in this moment I realized that I couldn't just be his friend and watch them together. I wanted him but my want for him was hurting me and I couldn't take that anymore. 

They came back after a while and she sat down on his lap "I have an announcement to make." I say as I grab a shot "I will be leaving to Spain in a few days."

"Wait what?" Alexa says "Yeah I finally got a place to stay and so I will be leaving in a few days." "Oh my gosh I told you it would all work out." She hugs me and we all take our shots, I look over at Will who is just looking at me.

I couldn't read him though there was just nothing. I avoided him for the rest of the night and he didn't try to talk to me again. Melissa also kept a close eye on me but she didn't need to. I was going to be leaving and I needed to move on from him same way he did.

I couldn't let this bother me anymore it was better for me this way. I couldn't go back to the way I was before I wasn't going to let this tear me up all over again inside.

I needed only to worry about Dom getting better and my friendships. I needed to focus on my career because I was so close now, I am almost done. After tonight I wasn't sure my feelings for William were worth fighting for anymore.

He had moved on, got over me and loved someone else.
